From the gorgeous log woodwork to the beautiful cabin décor, guests experience, right from the start, the coziness of this cabin suite. Adorned by high trey ceilings in the two private master bedrooms each with a queen bed, a spacious living room with a comfy sectional sofa, gas fireplace and TV, a master bathroom with a walk-in shower and Jacuzzi for two, and a large kitchenette. The kitchenette comes with a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, toaster, kitchen sink, dishes, silverware. There are complimentary coffees, teas, creams, and sugars. With the well-appointed amenities this cabin suite has to offer, it is sure to make your getaway perfect.

This was a girls trip. Very nice and relaxing. A little disappointed that there was no porch. Just a small table with chairs. Pictures led us to believe there was a covered porch but that was another unit.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed our short stay at In the Woods cabin suite. It is in a rural and very quiet location …definitely away from it all. The suite was immaculate and very comfortable. We appreciated the supply of K cups since we didn’t bring any.We recommend this suite to anyone who wants to visit Amish country….private, and yet, not too far away from shopping and restaurants.

A Perfect, Peaceful Night Away from Everything

The little cabin is absolutely worth it. There’s walking trails around the cabin and a little pond with a swing in front to just sit and take in the serenity. At night it was so quiet and peaceful. The place was so clean too. You walk in and you feel right at home. The carpet has got to be the most comfortable thing in the world! The fire place was a little tricky but they have detailed instructions to help you out. Then the morning was perfect. We watched one of the most beautiful sun rises over the pond while we sipped our complimentary hot beverage. Only let down was the fire pit is out during the winter months, but everything else made up for it. 10/10!!! Will recommend and come back one day!

Extremely Beautiful!

The grounds were impeccably kept! I could not find a dandylion anywhere. We never had to leave this property for anything. We ordered food in and it was delivered right to our door. It was so much fun just sitting and watching how the Amish near by live and work. The sounds of nature were wonderful . Spring is a great time to visit this property.

Quiet and peaceful

My husband and I decided last minute to take a trip to Amish country. Found this place on Vrbo. Cabin was very clean and as pictured online. It’s quiet and comfortable place to stay. Only wish it was a little closer to the attractions. Would definitely stay again

Perfect getaway!

Absolutely wonderful! This property was exactly what it's advertised to be. A return trip is necessary. Peaceful, quiet and lot's to do in the area. Merchants and vendors were very friendly and helpful with directions. Being greeted by the owner upon arrival added a feel good personal touch as well. Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer than the two nights. Next time!❤️

Beautiful Grounds & Property

We were getting away for a day after Christmas and had a great time. This is not in the heart of it all but close to everything. Everything was spotless and was perfect for us.

Fantastic Location & Cabin

Tranquil environment, Nice Walking Trails. Cabin was wonderful. We have been doing girls getaway (sister, mom, aunt) for 8 years, we loved the cabin and grounds. Highly recommend this location.

First Class Operation -

My wife and I drove a little over an hour from the Cleveland, OH area to stay a night in a cabin called In the Woods. It is one of several cabins and I think there's a lodge also as part of the 20 acre site. Everything in the cabin was perfect - spotless, very comfortable beds, a great gas fireplace. For us, the attraction was the jacuzzi tub in the cabin. It was wonderful. There are gravel-paved trails around the woods and a beautiful pond. Lots of birds.

Growing up on a dairy farm across the road from what is now our lodge property, Duane Miller (co-owner with his wife, Gwen) later in his life saw an opportunity to purchase part of a farm, which years later became the location for our lodge. What started out as two, private lodge suites grew into twelve private, luxury lodge suites and two luxury, cabin suites. Duane grew up Amish on a large farm in Holmes County, Ohio and Gwen was raised in the rural countryside of Coshocton County, Ohio. Both enjoy sharing their love of nature, farm-country, and the peaceful countryside with their guests.
