Newly custom built, 4-season waterfront Cottage on 20 acres in beautiful “Land O Lakes”. The cottage sits on a crystal-clear, spring-fed lake about 5 km in length. Palmerston lake offers excellent fishing for smallmouth bass as well as lake trout and pan fish. Our lake system is extreamly clean, weed free and excellent for swimming, boating, fishing and more.
The Space:
Spacious, open kitchen comes complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and everything you need to create memorable meals.
5 large bedrooms with new pillow top mattresses for a restful sleep. 2 full bathrooms, one per floor.
Outside fire pit with 12ft picnic table is a great place to cozy up by the fire and enjoy the panoramic view of the stars
Everything you need to relax: boardgames, 2 flatscreen TV’s, 3 kayaks, 1 paddle board, propane fireplace, large outdoor fire-pit, internet, large dock and crystal clear water with depts of 6ft-10ft off the dock. Local boat rental and launch nearby.
The best Atv trails in the province are less than 1km away from the property.
Winter sports including snowmobile trails, ice fishing, and cross country skiing

ATV Weekend

Friends that getaway

We are a few friends who have become empty nesters. We have decided to take a break and go 4 wheeling together in the fall to enjoy the changes that the season brings. This place fits us all. It has space for our vehicles, trailers and we can leave on our 4 wheelers right from the property.

A beautiful cottage for a weekend of fun with friends and family

The cottage is beautiful and perfectly situated on the lake. We had lots of fun out on the water kayaking and swimming. The cottage was really clean and Mike went above and beyond to accommodate us. Looking forward to returning again.

Fully equipped, quiet, comfortable stay

We had an amazing stay at Mike’s cottage. We very comfortably slept 6 adults and 4 kids. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you needed and more. The kids toys/high chairs/ crib were especially useful and really reduced the gear we needed to bring for our kids. It is a beautiful cottage (more like lake house!) with comfortable beds, very quiet with no nearby neighbours and it’s a pretty calm lake. Had a great time using the kayaks and swimming. We didn’t explore the neighbouring towns but they had a binder full of info on where to find things that would be useful. Mike was also really nice and had great communication with us at checkin and checkout. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful Stay

A wonderful get away for our group of friends, everything you could need is available. Lots of big comfortable rooms to go along with the clean and organized kitchen to the deck with quality patio seating. Water clear and clean, a truly fantastic property.

Weekend Fall Get Together

Myself and my friends enjoyed a weekend at the cottage. We went kayaking and had camp fires outside. Everything in the listing was accurate and the host was always communicative. Would stay here again.

Great Stay

Beautiful cottage in remote location on a very quiet lake. Cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything you should need. Beds are comfortable and linens where great. Host is very responsive and accommodating. Highly Recommended.

Amazing Weekend

My friends and I had an amazing stay and the cottage was absolutely gorgeous! My friends and I would go back in a heartbeat to relax and stay at the cottage and we would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a getaway!

Lovely Lake

Palmerston Lake was a beautiful, clean, clear lake for swimming and paddle sports. Hiking trails and a beach were nearby. Our family group of 10 slept comfortably and enjoyed many meals at the giant picnic table. The kitchen could have been cleaner, especially the fridge, and the bathrooms better stocked.

2 night stay

The overall property was good but the beds were terrible (mattress and beds were very bad except the bunk bed) and the cleanliness of the basement was bad, bugs in the bed and bugs crawling all over the basement and the sectional couch couldn’t have any social gatherings downstairs only on the main floor. Checkout process should’ve been mentioned earlier on when upon checkin because wifi is spotty and there’s no network at all in the area. Everything else was pretty good and communication was good by the owner.

Best Getaway

The owner of this property is extremely eassy and professional to speak with. The cottage itself is a perfect size for a group of 6. The cottage comes equipped with freshly folded sheets for each bed. Lots of towels and endless cooking utensils. Large deck with seating for 6 and a screened in porch at the front kf the cottage with seating for four. The cottage comes equipped with kayaks. The firepit is a perfect size. The dock accomodated our 20 foot boat, without an issue. Cottage size: 5 out of 5 Cottage Comfort: 5 out of 5 Activities & Attractions: 5 out of 5 Privacy: 5 out of 5 Cleanliness: 5 out of 5 Description vs Reality: 5 out of 5 Thank You very much Mike. I will 100% be renting youe cottage again

Great Property

Mike did a wonderful job accommodating to our needs. I stayed 3 nights at this cottage. The check-In process, and directions provided were simple and easy to follow. The cottage itself was big and spacious. Easily enough room for everyone. The beds are comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed swimming on the dock (zero weeds in the water)! Campfires with plenty of wood, and relaxing on the main deck which had plenty of furniture to use. Everything needed in the kitchen was there including things like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, which I never would have thought to bring, but ended up needing! Would definitely stay again!

ATV Weekend

Wow! This property is stunning, warm, cozy and secluded. Nestled in the trees overlooking the lake. Very open concept and a large deck with a fire pit below for entertaining! The beds could use updating but are not terrible!! The trails are close by and amazing. The owner was very personable, any questions were answered quickly. The amenities were abundant everything you need is there! We will be booking again! Thank you Mike!

We had a great weekend, super helpful host, beautiful and clean cottage, amazing private lake, the only thing for another guests is to remember about garbage disposal process, remember to sort it and put in a clear bags.

Gorgeous Cottage

Loved the property, very secluded and private. The cottage is perfect for a group. The only recommendation is update your bedding and have your cleaning lady spend abit more time in kitchen. Would recommend it 😊
