Beautiful log home on the best part of Indian Lake.
Sunsets to warm your heart! The photos are of actual views from the home.

Whether you just want to get away from it all and watch some of the most beautiful sunsets, or get out and see the UP, this is the location for you. Most of the UP is just a day trip from Manistique making this an ideal spot for your base. Take in the Soo Locks one day, then spend the next lounging on the beach and catching perch from the canoe just a short paddle from the dock. Take in the crowds of Mackinac Island one day, then spend the next hiking the trails all by yourself in the beauty that can only be found in the UP.

No matter what you want to do, you will be able to do it comfortably from Sunset Beach! Snowmobile from your front door, and return to store your sled indoors, build a fire, and tell stories while planning the next days fun!

Quiet location with almost 200 feet of frontage with your own private swimming beach!
The lake at this location has a sandy bottom that gradually deepens.
There is a weed bed within paddling distance of the dock where you can catch your perch dinner. Suggestions for fishing the lake for Walleye, perch, trout, sturgeon, muskie, or pike can be made available for renters.

July and August rentals are 7 night minimum with check in and check out on Saturday.

This is one of our favorite cabins. Our children loved the lake and the beach. The cabin was extremely comfortable. The beds helped them sleep so well. It was also very close to the Manistique Boardwalk which was beautiful. We hope to come back next year.

This spot was the perfect summer get away spot for our family! We were able to do things locally in town like go out to eat a couple of times, hit up a local beach on Lake Michigan, and go shopping. We also ventured out to places like Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Pictured Rocks, Benny the Beard Fisher, etc. Most of all we took advantage of all the things that being right on Indian Lake had to offer (e.g. kayaking, swimming, fishing, campfires, and breath-taking sunsets). Roger was a very thorough host, and this spot comes highly recommended! 10/10!!!

Great Time in the UP

We enjoyed the stay very much. The beach was very private and a great place for the kids to play.

What a perfect location for our family vacation. We were a family of five that stayed at Sunset Beach. The space was perfect. From the back yard to the bedrooms to the baths. Enough room for each of us to have space but still feel the family vacay vibes. The cabin was far enough away from towns but also perfectly located for us to do daily trips to Marquette, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls and others. Roger hospitality was amazing from the beginning to the final touch of a handwritten thank you card through the mail. Roger was always prompt with any questions we had. Roger also kept the cabin stocked on most everything a family may need while staying there. If we ever stay in Manistique again, Sunset beach is where we’ll book. Also, the sunsets are the description of perfection. Thanks for everything, Roger!

Family trip

The cabin was clean, welcoming and is in a great location. My family really enjoyed all the water equipment and lazy days bye the lake.

Beautiful property!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The sunsets on the lake were amazing and we loved using the kayaks and canoe to spend time on the lake. We also rented another house in the area and enjoyed family dinners for all of us at this location.

Great location! Overall things were good. I would only recommend putting a fan in the bathroom and getting a skillet for cooking on. We would definitely book at this place again.

Great time

Everything was great. The home was nice, clean and beds are comfortable. Nice little beach area for the kids. Would definitely consider staying again if we come back to the area.

Great cabin on a quiet lake

Property was clean and quiet. Great staging point for our excursions. Roger was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend his property!

Great Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay on Indian Lake. The cabin is clean with all the modern amenities a family needs (ac, laundry room). Even though it is in a neighborhood, the lot is much more private than we expected. We loved that the front room looked out at the lake and there was a private beach that my kids thoroughly enjoyed.

Beautiful log home

We stayed during the 4th of July of 2021. Incredible views, and in a great neighborhood. Just what we needed after 2 years of Covid..Highly recommended

Great family vacation spot!

Perfect spot for family. Beach area with swimming was a hit with our grands. They have asked to return. House well stocked with paper products and laundry supplies which came in very handy. Owner was very responsive

Peaceful and Beautiful

My husband and I enjoyed the beauty and privacy of this gorgeous cabin. The view was breathtaking and we had everything we needed. Taking the kayak out on the lake to watch the sunset was spectacular. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!!!

Perfection

Don't hesitate to book this place. Immaculate. Gorgeous lake for swimming, the most perfect sandy bottom. Great layout, fully stocked and well organized. We had a fantastic time.

Much Nicer Than Listing

Every family member that either stayed ot just visited was impressed with how nice the property, the accommodations and the amenities were. Not to mention the incredible sunsets and the beautiful environment. We all loved watching the ducklings, deer and even a wild turkey. This was more than a lakefront rental, this was a lakefront home that we had the privilege of sharing. Host was attentive, but not intrusive. WELL DONE!
