This charmingly renovated cottage on Lake Michigan's Big Bay de Noc includes 240 feet of private sandy beach!

This property is located next to the Sunset Beach House (VRBO #4319090) and can be rented concurrently.

Available to rent year-round, the cottage includes both air conditioning, and forced air heat and pellet stove.

Located about 40 miles east of Escanaba, with easy access to trails for snowmobiling and 4-wheeling.

Well-stocked kitchen and gas grill.

Beautiful sunsets all year. Enjoy them in the summer sitting on the porch swing or by the fire pit on the beach.

Sleeps 7 comfortably.

This was such a lovely place to stay! Various serene, comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well stacked with pots, pans, dishes, and condiments. We would definitely stay here again! Greatly appreciate this experience.

Very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The owner was wonderful at communicating during our stay. We needed a new filter and she had one at the door the next day. We LOVED the beach and view, as did our dogs. We will be back and can’t wait to stay here again.

The beach cottage was even better than we expected. It had everything we needed and then some. So peaceful and serene. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful bay!

The cabin was comfortable and cozy. The weather was typical for Michigan, variable, LOL! We had plenty of opportunities to explore the area and enjoy all that the cabin had to offer. We wish the conditions were more favorable to enjoy the outdoor features of the cabin. I guess we’ll just have to make a return trip!

Great place to stay as it was central to all we planned to see. Very beautiful scenery. If I was to change anything I believe I would add curtains at west windows. The setting sun shown through making it difficult to see. Definitely not a deal breaker. Looking forward to booking again with Vrbo.

Fantastic Family Vacation!

This cottage is perfect for a family beach vacation. The beach and shoreline is gradual entry and very shallow - so it was ideal for young kids to explore. The cabin was clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed. The sunsets we saw, nearly every night, were stunning. Overall, this property is excellent for anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation away from the crowds.

Spring Break

This is our second time staying here and again we did not want to leave. For our family of four this place is perfect and Heather is more than gracious as a host. Even checking in with us knowing we needed to travel after the ice storm that had recently come through. We recommend this place and area to everyone! Looking forward to our next stay here!!

Lovely setting!

This property is so great for a couple or family to get away from the hustle and bustle! It's quiet and not too difficult to find, though really pretty secluded. Right on the water with plenty of wildlife wandering through. Sunsets are amazing with a campfire right on the beach. I would absolutely return in a heartbeat!

Sunset cottage

Nice stay at this cottage. It was warm enough the first day to get in the water which was much warmer than we expected for the UP. It is very shallow for a long way out. We saw a beautiful sunset early in the week before it got cooler and rainy. The Dock Bar and Grill is just up the road and has great fresh fish!

We stated with our kids and the furry friend, the property was as described and sparky clean when we arrived the, Heather was very responsive and accommodating. We definitely return back another day another time till then adios!

Great Place to Stay!

I had a great week staying here with my boyfriend and our dog. The cottage is on the water and has beautiful views. I enjoyed sitting by the water and reading a book. So peaceful. The lake has a sandy bottom, and the sand bar goes out pretty far. We loved exploring the area and took trips to Pictured Rocks, Fayette State Park, Benny the Beard Fisher and Kitch-iti-kipi. The listing was very accurate. The cottage was very clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. I loved how the cottage was dog friendly! There were food bowls, a food mat and bags outside to pick up after your dog. We had a great time and would book again!

Amazing

This place is exactly as described and in my opinion even better! If you're looking for a nice private getaway this is a great place to go! My favorite part was having a bonfire right on the beach. It was so relaxing. The beds were extremely comfortable too! Everything was just really perfect for my family. We will definitely be coming back when its warm so we can get in the water but even while its cold out i would still go back here again and again! Checking in was a million times easier and less hassle than a hotel and communicating with Heather, our host was very easy. She was very generous with checking in early and explained everything perfectly. I will be recommending this place to as many people as i possibly can for sure

Beach House

Beautiful spacious cabin and property. Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything needed and more. The place fit 7 people and 2 dogs comfortably and the nightly beach bonfires were awesome, along with the stunning sunsets. Great communication with owner. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again. The only issue was the plumbing would get backed up now and again. But we imagine with all the showers, toilet flushing, etc. it overloaded the system a bit. We just gave it some time and everything worked great.

Just Okay

We arrived on a beautiful afternoon and the cleaning crew was running late so we decided to take our dogs down to the beach. Well, what was supposed to be 240 feet of beautiful sandy beaches was albeit beautiful but was anything but a beach. It was many months of grasses growing and mossy marsh leading out to hundreds of feet of shallow waters. While the rest of the property was over the top, this really ruined the entire trip for us. Never even went in the water. :((

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, however there was an ongoing problem with the septic system that delayed one of our day trips. I wish there was a phone number that you could call in case of an emergency.

We enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. It was very spacious for the two of us and our dog. Nice location for visiting nearby attractions.
