Perfect stay for local scene

Perfect place to see the tourist areas as well as the local scene. The AC was a lifesaver and the host was the kindest :)

Wonderful stay

We were on a girls trip to Rome and stayed at the apartment. The communication with the host was fantastic and she helped us arrange our ride from FCO. We loved the place, it has everything you need and there is a market and stores close by. Also it is a very safe building. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

A home from home

The apartment is in a suburb of Rome conveniently situated near public transport . It is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It is suitable for a family of 4. The host was friendly and available to answer all our queries. It was an enjoyable stay and I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great experience.

First time in Rome, about 20-25 minute bus rides to and from the main city. Property was very clean and easy to access with lots of stores nearby for groceries and food. Would recommend.

Big Fan

Staying in a quieter neighborhood was such a nice getaway after sightseeing each day. There were also many great eateries and shops located near the apartment. Public transportation is available nearby for easy access to most of the city. The host was very hospitable and was so helpful when it came to questions and navigating the city. WOULD STAY AGAIN!

Residential Rome

Our host was amazing. She set up our transports from the airport and to the cruise ship. She showed us the apartment and recommended local restaurants and attractions as well as bus routes. The home was nice with a market next door with various vendors.

Great host

Maria is a fantastic host!!! Super friendly and accommodating. The property had all the amenities we needed and the location is fantastic!! A short tram ride to the Colosseum and other attractions. Plenty of food options and a supermarket across the street. It is a little noisy but it was to be expected. 100% recommend this property.

Very nice and clean apartment Rome. Very close to transit for visiting the heart of Rome.

Beautiful old European style apartment with modern touches. Close to transit, supermarket, open air market and restaurants. Maria could not have been more accommodating, especially with the pick up from the airport. Well worth the cost. Definitely a five star apartment and experience.

Lily (owner) was extremely gracious and accomodating

Location away from city center but easy access via 8 bus. Fresh fruits and pastries from market across the street were convenient for a light breakfast. Nearby cafes available for light breakfast and/or lunch. The best, best, best part was Lily! She was beyond helpful. She was able to arrange transport from the airport and also to the cruise port a few days later. She was also helpful in guiding us to the sites.

Great time in Rome

It is a nice apartment in Rome, it offers plenty of space . We were warmly received by Lilly and her daughter. They were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is well located just outside the old center, the bus stops almost on the doorstep, the tram stops around the corner. They take you directly to the Coliseum and Vatican City. Trastevere a neighborhood with many restaurants is within walking distance. We had a great time in Rome! I recommend the apartment to anyone who wants to explore Rome and its surroundings

Wonderful owner and property

I can't say enough about how sweet and wonderful Lilly is! She was extremely helpful and gracious from the moment we started planning our trip last summer, to the minute we departed. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, and the pictures don't do it justice. Located in a great part of Rome, and close to the tram, making it easy to get to the heart of Rome. Lilly and her daughter were great in giving us directions and suggestions of places to see and things to do. We loved our stay and would highly recommend staying here. We plan to return to Rome in the near future and won't stay anywhere else but here. Thank you Lilly for being so incredible and for our amazing stay in Roma!!!

Authentic Italian neighborhood

I can’t rave enough about Maria, her daughter, and my wonderful stay in their very authentic apartment! I traveled alone to Italy for my first time. The help and guidance made me feel like family! They made sure I was comfortable and provided so much knowledge and insight. I am forever in their debt and plan to visit yearly. The location was a 20 ride from the city center which was perfect for me as my goal was more to experience Italian culture than historic sites. You can do either at this location. Xo

Fantastic Host

Bedding could have been a little better and perhaps a few more towels but overall o.k. Host was fantastic. Really above and beyond with excellent english. While we were the water main to the building suffered a break. She informed us immediately and went out and got bottled in case we would need, which we didn't. But that was to me impressive. In all a simple no frills place that you can stay. Do make sure to bring your own shower soaps etc.

Lovely appartment and hosts

"Nene", the daughter was very nice and made a great effort to explain all of the necessary information to us when we arrived. She also gave us a map & recommendations, and there was even a gift awaiting us in the refrigerator! The only thing that we could suggest to make our stay even better would have been the availability of a little bit of coffee in the mornings- which we might not have noticed its absence except that the 3 vrbos before this one on our trip included it-- but(!), they did not include the special gift in the fridge, so maybe an even trade. 😉). Had we been staying longer, we might have purchased coffee capsules as suggested in a nearby store, but we only had 2 mornings in Rome. Luckily we were able to muscle thru tiredness with some instant coffee packets I brought, and found the most wonderful Desideri caffe across the street for well-priced cappucini & pastries! There is also an awesome, affordable tratorria/pizzeria by the name of Desideri on the same side of the street as the appartment. Bus stops other than the 8 can be an adventure to find, but we were up for the adventure--- and the appartment itself is simply gorgeous. Probably one of the higher-end, luxurious of our trip. Thank you for the personal attention & care! 😍

Wonderful stay in a great neighborhood

We had a great stay in this apartment. We were so happy to have chosen a location outside of the main tourist area as we really felt like we were in an authentic Roman neighborhood which was overall the highlight of our trip. This apartment is situated on a colorful shopping street with very easy access to the tram and multiple bus lines that can take you anywhere in the city. We were in Rome during some very hot weather but the apartment AC worked great. The hosts were wonderful, we truly felt welcomed and taken care of. We would certainly stay here again.

Magical Retreat

What an amazing place Maria and Lilly have created. Not only was the space spotless, it was also warm and inviting. We were greeted with grace and Lilly answered all our questions. These wonderful hosts helped us navigate transportation, discover special neighborhood restaurants, helped us arrange taxis and checked in with us frequently to see about our stay. The building is located on a charming street complete with an amazing bakery. The apartment is more than just clean, it is absolutely charming. We stayed here both before and after our time in Florence. Public transportation is only steps away and easy to use. We could not have chosen a more perfect rental for our time in Rome!!!

We loved our stay here. Irene was so helpful and kind and equipped us with all the info we needed to navigate around the city. The neighborhood was great and access to transportation to get to anywhere we needed to go was super easy. The apartment was great, the pictures do not do it justice. Very authentic and cozy and with all amenities! The market next door was great for groceries—eggs, meat, cheese, veggies, and more. Thanks so much for hosting us and for your amazing hospitality! :)

Siamo una famiglia di cinque persone dalla Germania e consiglio vivamente questo appartamento. È ottimo per raggiungere Roma in autobus. I negozi sono proprio dietro l'angolo, i proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili e l'appartamento è molto confortevole, pulito e ha tutto il necessario. esigenze. Grazie mille per la bella ospitalità e tornerei da te se dovessimo tornare in vacanza a Roma.

Une location à rafraîchir et à équiper sérieusement, qui n'est PAS DU TOUT conforme à l'annonce.

L'appartement ne PEUT PAS recevoir 6 personnes : il n'y a que 2 chaises dans le salon qui sert de chambre, pas de fauteuil, et un sofa qui s'effondre quand vous vous asseyez ou vous allongez. Dans la cuisine, il n'y a RIEN, pas de saladier, bouilloire, grille-pain, pas d'horloge et surtout PAS DE FOUR et PAS DE LAVE-VAISSELLE, comme indiqué dans l'annonce. Le verre de la porte et du balcon est brisé, les peintures écaillées, le sol abîmé et l'armoire de la salle de bains s'est quasi effondrée. Enfin, l'appartement est très bruyant, bruits constants, toute la nuit, et dans l'immeuble et dans la rue. La propriétaire n'a pas reconnu que l'électro-ménager annoncé était absent, ce qui nous a empêchés de cuisiner !!!!! Pas non plus de CD-thèque ni DV-thèque, comme annoncées !! l'appartement était littéralement VIDE - sauf le lit de la chambre mitige l'appréciation d'ensemble !!! Très DÉÇUS !!!!!

Appartamento perfetto!

In una zona residenziale di Roma, facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi, è un bell'appartamento, molto curato e pulito. La padrona di casa è stata gentilissima e disponibile fin dai primi contatti e poi durante e alla fine del soggiorno. Consigliatissimo :)) Grazie e alla prossima!

Great Retreat in an Roman Neighborhood

We had a great stay in Lily's apartment. The apartment is spacious and we found it to be a lovely retreat after a day of touring Rome. We were in Rome during a summer heat wave, so the air conditioning was essential and we were very grateful to have a cool place to rest. The location is great for getting to the center of Rome to see all of the sites. We visited the colosseum, the Pantheon, Vatican City, and Trastevere neighborhood, and other places in Rome. Right outside the apartment building is an outdoor market just outside of the apartment that had beautiful, fresh produce, seafood, cheeses, meats, and bread. I went to the market every day to get bread, vegetables, and fruit. The neighborhood also had restaurants, pastry shops, and grocery stores. We enjoyed being in a neighborhood outside of the tourist areas. Lily and Irene made our stay really nice. They gave us clear directions to the apartment, made restaurant recommendations, and provided helpful information about public transportation. Irene kept in communication with us when we were late arriving and waited to let us into the apartment. We felt very welcomed by her! Lily checked in with us during our visit and was especially supportive when we needed an extra large taxi to get two very large boxes with bikes packed in them to the airport. Lily took the time to arrange for the taxi and made sure that it was big enough to get the boxes to the airport. She really made the end of our trip much easier. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to stay in a Roman neighborhood away from tourist areas. It's a great apartment for families and couples. Thank you very much to Lily and Irene!
