Most Spectacular View and Sunsets on Magnificent Lake Atitlan

Casa Tzampoc is nestled on a hill overlooking the 3 volcanos that created Lake Atitlan. It is situated between the Mayan villages of Santa Catarina Palopo and San Antonio Palopo and next to two of the most prestigious boutique hotels on the lake. Restaurants and fabulous shopping for local crafts are located minutes away in authentic Mayan villages and the larger town of Panajachel.

The house is furnished exclusively with antique and hand made furniture, local textiles, ceramics and crafts. The kitchen is fully equipped for a gourmet cook, which can be arranged. The interior space is separated by an atrium and stairs to private bedroom and bathroom areas. There are views of the volcanos and outside areas from every room through beautiful mahogany windows and doors.

The private swimming pool, nestled in the garden, is heated by solar panels and maintained every day by Nicholas, our houseman. The house is beautifully kept every morning by Suli, our maid.

All transportation and excursions can be arranged with advance notice.

Check in was a breeze and Yare helped with everything leading up to our arrival, and everything during our stay. Her and the team made our stay everything we hoped it would be. You may think you don’t want the private chef, but trust me, you do. The Guatemalan breakfast was fantastic.

This was a wonderful house with wonderful service. Our kids enjoyed the pool, we took advantage of the outside fireplace one evening, and woke up to incredible views of the lakes and volcanos every morning. It had everything we needed, including having the meals come to us most nights- with small kids this was a major advantage. It can feel a little secluded and the warnings of the steep driveway are no joke, but that didn’t stop us from getting out and exploring a different area each day.

This house is incredible and so is the staff! They booked a private chef, boat tour, massages, and transportation so we didn’t have to think about anything. The view was perfect and we enjoyed the pool everyday. The only negative was a staff member came by multiple times a day and enters the yard unannounced. He came in and would disappear so I’m not sure what he was doing. The constant drop ins did take away from the tranquil privacy.

Our stay at the house in Lake Atitlán was absolutely exceptional. The property is exactly as shown in the photos, if not even more impressive in person. The home is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The views are truly breathtaking and made every morning unforgettable.The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and the concierge service was outstanding from start to finish. We highly recommend hiring the private chef, it was a wonderful experience, and we only wish we had booked him for more evenings.This home was truly a favorite of ours, and we would not hesitate to return.

Pleasant Stay

Check-in process was easy. Property Manager was very prompt in responding to all our queries and helped us in providing all the required information. Place was clean and well maintained. We all enjoyed our stay.

Stunningly gorgeous views of the lake & beautiful property!

I highly recommend this property. The views were out of this world amazing, the house was large and fully stocked. The outdoor areas & the landscaping were gorgeous! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing but great things to say, you won’t regret staying here.

A lovely home with spectacular views! Nikolas, groundskeeper and Teresa’s, housekeeper, were both stellar! Their war th and caring turned out stay into an exceptional experience! We will never forget them!

Lynn and family were the perfect guest, I have spoken to both Nickolas and Teresa and were told that Lynn and family were very respectful of the house and more important to both of them. When you rent a vacation home no matter how beautiful having staff that are welcoming can make a beautiful home more beautiful and that same home with staff that are not sensitive to you needs and not welcoming can make that home not quite as nice. I want to thank Lynn for her recognition of Nikholas and Teresa as they are the backbone of Casa Tzampoc. We would be happy to have Lynn back anytime she chooses to come back to the Lake.

Waking up to volcano views

Book it! Absolutely amazing place, location, service, food. Every room has a view and outdoor access. Nicolas, Daniel, Ramiro, and the cleaning lady were all top notch. Booking lanchas and tours with them were a breeze and cheaper/on par for pricing. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Unreal house on Lake Atitlan with amazing hospitality.

This house and the views are unbelievable. Daniel the property manager made the visit an unforgettable experience with his hospitality and help arranging shuttles, boat rides, taxis, groceries, and dinner recommendations.

Beautiful home!

We celebrated my mother’s birthday at the Lake and this home was amazing! All of the staff were super helpful and friendly. Whenever I had questions, the concierge Abner, was only a text away. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s stays in this area.
