Was an excellent choice for our family and close to Panajachel. Property was clean and kitchen was easy to use for cooking meals. The views are incredible.

The host was amazingly responsive. The views were incredible. The apartment is super comfortable and very warm. I felt at home.

I could live here! Clean and comfortable place! Beds have great linens and pillows, showers have hot water and great pressure, kitchen is fully equipped and views are spectacular!! I highly recommend this place for location, comfort and R&R!

The penthouse is amazing with AMAZING views! Totally gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. Watching the sunrise and sunsets were truly AMAZING! The penthouse is in the Hotel Riveria which is GREAT! It's the only apartment on the top 17th floor. We had breakfast at the restaurant everyday, we used the pools/hot tubs, kids used trampolines and they had ping pong tables, Foosball, board games, etc. Also, there is lake access and a private dock. We had a private boat come there to pick us up and drop us off. We also had a jet ski/water tube rental come there. It's minutes by TukTuk to the main Satander strip where there is a ton of restaurants/shops/banks, etc. Silvia the host is is amazing, very responsive, she got us what we needed. Amazing host! Will definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

The views were amazing. The information provided was helpful, especially the phone numbers for the Tuk-Tuk drivers. The apartment was well appointed. We had everything we needed/expected. The biggest challenge was that early check-in arrangements were made, but the host did not provide the code to enter until 20 minutes past the time we were told we would be able to enter.

1. The host on Vrbo is not the actual host or even the owner of the property. It was sold before I arrived and SILVIA CASTRO did not tell me such. She instead changed her name on the app to SONIA and lied to me “for my best interest.” I was unable to SECURELY CONTACT THE PROPERTY OWNER VIA VRBO, EVEN ONCE. SILVIA wanted me to go off-app. 2. The jacuzzi has moldy piping which shot out nasty, slimy, brown and gray mold.3. The walls of the master bedroom are literally deteriorating to dust. 4. It looks like nobody has swept in this place for months. Dust everywhere.5. They tell you don’t leave any crumbs yet don’t provide even a basic broom.6. The lake is no longer able to be swam in. Disgusting sewage water all around the docks.7. I bought a lot of items to cook because it said we had a full kitchen. The oven had no racks in it and I wasted over q1,000 on various meats and groceries. 8. Ants. Everywhere. Ive been to Panajachel and many surrounding towns and villages now, 4 times. This was the most disgusting place I’ve stayed. Ants in the toilet? Yes. Ants in the bed? Yes. Ants in the kitchen? Yes. 9. Water pressure was an issue the entire stay. I could barely wash any dishes let alone take a decent shower. One night we had zero water access whatsoever.10. The restaurant on site charges 30% extra for room service lol. Laughable.
Moldy jacuzzi water. Yuck.
