1 queen luxury loft bedroom, 1 bath cabin (sleeps 2). A true Scottish retreat sitting on the ridge of a secluded private forest where guest can enjoy the peaceful silence of nature only disturbed by the wildlife and birds. Minutes away from the Hocking Hills State Parks and attractions.

Walking through the front door you'll find a wonderful open living room, back deck, fireplace, kitchen and dining area. This self-catering cabin is fully stocked with basic amenities to help make your travels comfortable.

Enjoy the hot tub or the open deck under the canopy of the trees. Both make the perfect place to enjoy a cup of your favorite hot beverage or evening glass of wine. Enjoy grilling on the open deck.

The living area features ample seating, a gas fireplace, and smart television ideal to enjoy a late night movie.

Walking to the back of the property you will enjoy additional seating around the fire pit a great way to end the evening, enjoying the sounds and sights of the forest at night. The private acreage offers excellent hiking. You will create unforgettable memories.

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary at this cozy cabin. The seclusion made it incredibly peaceful, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub and unwinding in the hammock with a good book. Having meals at the table and chairs on the deck while soaking in the beautiful view was such a treat.For breakfast one morning, we visited a local diner that was absolutely delicious — the croissant French toast and their famous donuts are a must-try! Our waitress, Kelly, was so friendly and we really enjoyed chatting with her.This was the perfect mix of relaxation and great local flavor. We’ll definitely be planning another visit soon

Perfect little anniversary cabin

Everything was exactly as we had hoped. A beautiful, charming all-in-one cabin and very secluded, hidden up on a hill. So secluded, the evenings were almost eerily quiet.... The perfect spot to escape for a few days. We will definitely be back to this cabin. Thank you so much!!

Absolutely Beautiful

We enjoyed our stay very much ! So peaceful !! Definitely will be back to stay again! Do recommend it if you are looking to relax !! I have 2 small kids an a full-time job an It definitely was what my boyfriend an I needed!

Peaceful and quiet

It’s a very nice property very secluded. The music was a nice touch coming in the back. Porch was nice except for the step down where my girlfriend fell and hurt herself. The shower is too small other than that. Everything was very nice.

From the moment we pulled up to the cabin it was perfect. The location was private and the view was great. If you are looking for the perfect place for a couples getaway this is it! Without a doubt we will be back...if for no other reason then to play the "game". And to The Grays...well played...well played! 10 out of 10 for this cabin and it's hosts. Thank you!!!!

Nice view but…

Nice wooded view. Very private. Hot tub was decent which was the only perk. The shower had mold all over and very very small (wish I could attach pictures). Toaster was broken so our bagels were cold that we were planning to have everyday for breakfast. We went to the store and bought steaks and burgers prior to our arrival and the grill would not go above 200. So we had to use the stove. (Total bummer for a romantic dinner) and then decided to get dinner another night and not have the burgers. The bed was a very small queen. No padding and wrapped in a plastic material. The pillows were wrapped in a plastic material and hard as rocks with no give. Couldn’t wait to get home. I don’t suggest arriving at dark because the walk from the car to the cabin could be tricky if you were not used to it and the small dark roads leading to the place. When we arrived we thought someone else was in the condo because very loud Scottish music was playing that you could hear from the outside. That wasn’t a very inviting entrance.. they could have mentioned that would occur in the listing ( or maybe I missed the memo). Shortly after we arrived we found the first of many rolled up dollars. Again, already in flight mode, finding the first dollar made it weird and uncomfortable until we realized there were dollars hidden all over. Light bulbs were burnt out and some would flicker. Hopefully the owners fix all these concerns and you all have a better experience than us but I won’t be back.

Overall impression of this cabin is that there is a lot of potential but upkeep and cleanliness is not the best at all. Got there with only enough toilet paper for 2 bathroom trips, had to go buy our own, there was only 1 robe and 1 empty hanger(not a big deal),the patio table to sit at in the back of cabin was filthy and the metal ring around the glasstop was rusty and 1/4 of it was missing, big risk of cutting yourself(didnt use), the grill was filthy and shields over burnerers were rusted out laying right on top of the burneres(couldn't use that) so went to cook on the stove and pulled out a pan that still had hamburger on it, the couch shown in the listing was not there and replaced with a smaller couch which was broken in the middle so very uncomfortable, kept sucking you into the middle and we ended up just sitting in seperate chairs, the stairs up to loft were filthy with dust and hair from who knows how many prior renters, pillow had a blood stain on it under the pillow case, white towel had stains(who knows what it was being a couples cabin), hot tub had a leak so water level was lower than should have been. The cleanliness and upkeep of the cabin was very disappointing. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time away, very quite and secluded.
