2-Person Romantic Treehouse Getaway in Hocking Hills, Ohio

Escape to our cozy Treehouse retreat and fully immerse yourself into the beautiful scenery of Hocking Hills! This tiny home is studio-style, offering a queen bed and a foldout sofa for extra lounging space. Enjoy the comforts of full HVAC, fast Wi-Fi, and an electric fireplace for those chilly evenings. We also have a Bluetooth sound system with speakers built into the ceiling and a DVD player with a small collection of DVDs for your entertainment.

When you're ready to unwind, step outside through the large sliding glass doors and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine on our wraparound deck or relax around the fire pit under the twinkle lights!

Tiny home = tiny kitchen! Our small but well-equipped kitchenette has two hot plates, pots, pans, a mini fridge and freezer, griddle, toaster oven, classic toaster, Keurig coffee maker, and all the utensils you need. There's even a 6-bottle wine cooler and an electric grill on the deck for outdoor cooking. While we don't have a traditional oven, microwave, or dishwasher, most guests still manage to prepare delicious meals without a hitch!

Our treehouse also features a full bathroom with a toilet, shower, and a small vanity. The window offers privacy with just the flip of a switch, creating the perfect blend of nature and comfort.

Loved it! Beautiful setting. Very nice accommodations, Very responsive host. It was a quite a surprise to have to put down a 3K deposit or pay 90 for insurance. Would have cancelled if we hadn’t already made definite plans

We did want to clarify for future guests that the damage protection options are disclosed during the VRBO booking process and are not an unexpected charge added by the host after booking. VRBO allows guests to choose between a refundable security deposit or a smaller non-refundable damage protection policy. Other major “BNB”/vacation rental platforms build similar protection into their overall fees rather than presenting it as a separate choice. We truly appreciate you staying with us and are so glad you enjoyed your visit!

It was tricky finding the property it’s very remote but manageable I would say if you have a little dog keep a good eye on them when letting them out on the deck it’s a long way down and they can slip right under the wire

Thank you for staying with us! We do want to clarify a couple of things for future guests. The Treehouse is intentionally a private, wooded stay in Hocking Hills. GPS will bring guests to our driveway, and detailed written driving directions are provided in our welcome guide. We also send an automatic reminder a week before every stay specifically asking guests to review and save those directions prior to arrival. As with any cabin in a wooded setting, dogs do need to be supervised while outside and on the deck, regardless of their size. We are happy to welcome dogs completely free of charge and are proud to offer that perk, so we are a little bit disappointed to see it contribute to a less than 5-star experience. We appreciate you choosing to stay with our family-owned business and hope you enjoyed your visit to Hocking Hills!

We just loved staying in the treehouse! Fantastic communication with the host . Super cute and clean. Very peaceful setting. We would definitely come back here to stay and hiking in Hocking Hills was beautiful. I am so happy we chose the treehouse for our short getaway.

Everything was top-notch very clean very well stocked. I’m just waiting for my 3000 damage deposit which I have not received yet after a week please refund that as soon as possible. It’s starting to worry me a little bit.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Guests have the option at checkout for a lower $89 non-refundable insurance fee or a $3,000 refundable deposit that VRBO issues 14 days after checkout. We as hosts do not have any visibility or access to guest payments including this refundable deposit, however, the VRBO support team will be able to assist with any further questions or concerns! Also, for any future guests reading, please note, this is similar to fees on other BNB platforms where the costs are just baked into the total. The Treehouse was well equipped with everything needed (and more!!!) for a weekend get-a-way. It was very clean. We enjoyed the seclusion and playing cards on the deck, listening to the installed Bluetooth sound system, and being submersed in nature. We will definitely return.

Excellent in all categories. I loved the area, the privacy, and the cleanliness was excellent. Good place for our dog to be out And we enjoyed being able to walk him around the area without concern. Property has a great view of the surrounding forest. And the location is close to all the main attractions.

Everything was excellent. Easy to find. Private, peaceful and quiet! Very close to Hocking Hills. The only issue (and it was minor) was the supply of hot water, as you must keep the showering to a minimum.

Absolutely loved everything about our stay! The space was perfect for us and our dog Wally. You cannot beat the view of waking up surrounded by nature and we loved how quiet it was. Highly recommend booking!

The Koblitz family has been visiting Hocking Hills for the last 40+ years, and in 2015 decided to build our own legacy. 

Ian, with 20 years of real estate experience, found his true calling in short-term rentals. He is the visionary and mastermind behind our properties – each designed to offer a one-of-a-kind stay. Alongside his wife, Megan, they have turned their love for real estate into something truly special – dedicating themselves to creating unique and memorable experiences for each of their guests.

In the last decade, we have grown our portfolio to include our OG Family Cabin, Treehouse, Underground Earth Home, Grain Silo, Airstream Glamper, and our newest Retro Cabin. 

However, we are NOT a big cabin company! Every property has been carefully designed, constructed, remodeled, and maintained by us. Our team is truly a family affair!
