This luxury property is in a rural setting a few miles from Great Ayton, with panoramic views, and sleeps six people in three bedrooms.
Bousdale Mill Cottage is a luxury property in a rural setting three miles from Great Ayton. The cottage is full of character, and has a king-size double with en-suite rolltop bath, shower, basin and WC, a second king-size double and a twin room. There is a family bathroom, and a ground floor cloakroom. The kitchen has comfy seating, a dining area and a woodburner, and doors to the patio. The sitting room has a baby grand piano. Outside is off road parking for three cars, and a garden with patio area. Bousdale Mill Cottage makes a superb base for enjoying the walking and cycling of the area, or for visiting Durham, York or the East coast.
Amenities: Full central heating from eco-friendly biomass boiler, with additional heating from woodburning stove in dining area. Rangemaster cooker with electric oven and 8 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, Blu-ray DVD, CD, DAB radio, iPod dock, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and fuel for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Lawned garden, patio to the front with furniture and BBQ. Great Ayton has two village greens, with a river running alongside, making it a popular picnic spot in the summer months. To the north of the village, the view is dominated by Roseberry Topping, a 330 metre hill. In the village are a good range of shops and inns, which, together with restaurants and cafes, cater well for holidaymakers. There is also the old school, now converted into the Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum. Around the village are several interesting walks and Great Ayton makes a great base for walkers wishing to explore the stunning countryside around, especially in the summer months when the moors turn purple with blooming heather.
