Spacious barn catering for up to 2 persons and will allow upto 2 pets. (Pets are never to be left alone in the property at any time.)

Lovingly restored with local stone, this property boasts underfloor heating which is individually controlled in each room. Wood/Tiled floors throughout.

Open plan kitchen/dining/living room with 43" smart TV flat screen, fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. One bedroom with kingsize bed and 32" TV, ensuite bathroom with bath/toilet/basin. Patio area with furniture, courtyard parking.

All heating/hot water and electricity is included in your stay. Free WiFi. Towels and bed linen provided. (Linen/Towel change weekly). 3 night minimum booking.

The smithy was a lovely place to stay. It was very clean and it was very well set up with everything we could need. It was great waking to the sounds of birds and watching the rabbits in the field as well as bats flying past in the evening. We had an amazing stay and would recommend staying here to everyone.

Perfect 3 nights at this spotless and well appointed cottage. My dogs were completely happy and very relaxed as was I. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay, perfect for the hot rod races at Pendine. We were able to visit various beautiful places easily, property is in a peaceful location but near ammeneties. Host lovely accomodation clean with everythinn you need.

Lovely location, very clean, well maintained,nice warm accommodation to enter after being out in cold.Good communication from host and excellent welcome pack with snacks and wine .Everything that was needed in property for a lovely Christmas stay highly recommend and hope to return.

Lovely place!

The smithy is a great size..very comfortable, fabulous kingsize bed, Great fridge/freezer, cooker microwave, TV..the list goes on...oh...and a quiet kettleHorses, donkeys, rabbits, the list goes on again.Really worth a stay!

Brilliant base for one or two people. Cannot fault the condition of the property. Incredibly comfy bed, spotless bathroom, comprehensively equipped kitchen.

3day Stay

Very comfortable, very clean, all normal appliances for a longer stay. We are older people and would have appreciated grab rails in the shower. Otherwise very happy with the accommodation.

Holiday

Fantastic stay and would stay again. A few cobwebs about in the property,Cutlery needed a wash before we could use it and the shower was a bit odd. Other than that we loved it.

I cant believe we discovered such a gem. A beautiful place to stay, very clean and really peaceful. The owners have 100% thought of everything you may need for your break away.. I have never stayed anywhere that has been really well equipped and the little extra touches that make your stay special. .And then there is the welcome pack …. Loved it Really enjoyed our stay here exploring Wales, would 100% stay again

Can't fault it.

Absolutely perfect for us. My wife, the dog and I found everything we wanted. The 'cottage' was a good size with everything we needed. It was well equipped and everything worked as it should. We would use this place again if we were to revisit the area.

Peace and quiet

Exactly what I needed at the time. Whilst dog friendly there was nowhere for the dogs to do their toilet unless I walked down the lane which was also used by traffic. A dedicated dog area would be an added bonus to an amazing place to stay. I will definitely be booking again 👍

We found the bathroom tap system very antiquated having to set first and then flick over, apart from that everything else was spot on.

Lonely place

Everything was okay so far, but we missed the communication - we got notes on the phone and there was a welcoming folder prepared. It would have been better seeing / meeting someone.

Well located near the Botanic Garden and castles.

Property was fine, only drawback whilst we were there was the wind but it is what it is. Only complaint was nothing to do with the property, more that the O2 network coverage was poor, but other networks are available, so no wifi became a problem, but EE wifi is available if you are a BT customer.

This was a great property to stay at, spotlessly clean with everything you would need for a few days in South Wales.Communication with the host was spot on. The Smithy is a great location to explore South Wales from and close to Camarthan and main routes.This property and host is highly recommended, if I visit the area gain I will definitely stay here.
