Lazy Bear Cottage with Beautiful view and Fiber Internet!

Maybe not Heaven, but as close as it gets! A beautiful 2 bedroom cottage nestled in the heights of the Ozark Mountains. Very close, if not right in the middle of many trails, 4 wheeling and beautiful destinations, including 5 wineries with-in 30 miles. The cabin is wood throughout, ceramic flooring, island bar, nice front deck with a fire pit and a gorgeous view. If you are site seeing, hiking, 4-wheeling, or just need a nice peaceful and beautiful get away, this is the place!
The cottage is located on 40 acres, with National Forest on two sides. You can explore the property on site, access National forest on site, or take a short drive to many beautiful locations. The Historic Oark Cafe, the Burger Barn, Catalpa Cafe, Haw Creek Falls, The Glory Hole, the scenic Pig Trail, Byrds adventure center, Mount Magazine, Petite Jean Mountain, Mount Nebo, Mulberry River, High Bank Twin Falls, Ozark Highland Trails, Hawksbill Crag, Natural Bridge, and many other popular destinations are just a short drive away.
We live on the property so anything you may need, we will do our best to accommodate.
The cottage if fully stocked with anything you need to prepare meals. Pots, pans, utensils, crockpot, electric skillet, oven, stove top, microwave, array of seasonings and spices, coffee pot with coffee, refrigerator, etc.. There is also a gas grill on the deck. Sit around the island bar and have a nice meal, a drink, or a game of cards.
Just a beautiful place to hang out and relax, enjoy nature, get some peace and quiet, hike some trails, or go on an ATV ride. You will truly love this little slice of paradise!!

Great location

Enjoyed our stay! Great location. It was very remote and peaceful yet close enough to a town to get supplies. Hosts were great and checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed! Thanks again 😊

Cozy Cabin!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lazy Bear Cottage. It was just perfect. The owners were so friendly and quick to respond to questions. They even offered us an early check-in. We LOVED the goats, chickens, and turkeys. The grounds are beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Family Getaway

We stayed for a long weekend here with our three small children , and couldn’t have asked for more. The cabin is great, the property is wonderfully isolated, and the hospitality we received from Patrick & Marina was just fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Get away from the world

Enjoyed this very clean hideaway! We wanted isolated and to disconnect from the world and this was the perfect thing! Very well stocked with everything you would need!

Loved the whole experience. Hung out with the goats and ventured out for some hiking. Really liked the decor and bathroom sink! Hoping to have something similar one day.

Nestled in the woods

The comfortable cabin nestled in the woods was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. The Lazy Bear exceeded our expectations! We'll be back.

Easy to enjoy this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed the porch! It was so nice to come back from a day of jeeping, open a cold beverage, easily turn on the propane fire pit while we planned the next days route. Coffee in the mornings tasted even better out there too. Great view and so peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed. The goats were so fun to watch, even had deer in the front yard one morning!

Absolutely wonderful!

We had a terrific stay here! This is the cleanest cabin we have ever rented with a beautiful view, wonderful porch, firepit, everything we needed! The owner was easy to work with, we had complete privacy while we were there even though the owner's house is about150 yards away. There is wifi and TV, though we didn't watch much. Aside from a few small restaurants the only thing to do is hike/see nature, which is perfect for us! All in all. This was one of our very favorites! Highly recommend!

The Lazy Bear Cottage was such an amazing place to go and unwind from life’s daily routines. We were able to complete a 2000 piece puzzle of bears near a cabin. Thought it was very fitting. The atmosphere was just like it was described, very peaceful and very relaxing. This was the first time going to an Air B&B I was very pleased with the view of the mountains and the goats…lol. Patrick and Marina were awesome and very friendly. They made our stay very enjoyable.

A mother daughter getaway and it was perfect. We loved the location, the directions were perfect, and we enjoyed seeing the farm animal friends.I personally think the pictures don't do this property justice. It's a beautiful and clean place. Comfortable beds and decent pillows. The only small complaint that I have is the bedrooms can get hot at night. Otherwise a perfect trip!

We loved our stay! Nice cabin with everything one could need. Well located; feels remote yet easy to get to. Internet worked well. Owners home is visible from cabin but not close and privacy well maintained.

Hawksbill Crag (Whitaker Point) hiking trail about 1 hour drive from cabin.
Steel Creek Campground. About 1 hour drive from cabin. Great place to take a dip!

This property is conveniently located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. It borders national forest, and is very accessible to many hiking trails, waterfalls, and ATV trails. People come from all over to enjoy the beautiful scenery whether it be by foot, ATV, canoe, or vehicle. There are wineries and breweries with-in 30 miles. Just an extraordinarily beautiful slice of America.
