The Sparrow is located on the Mulberry River in Oark, Arkansas. Hit the trail and go back in time in our "Glamping Style" Covered Wagon that sleeps two comfortably. While you provide blankets, sheets and towels, we provide Wifi, a Queen size bed, A/C, Heat, TV, full bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, toilet paper, coffee maker, coffee, small refrigerator, and microwave. It is one mile from the Historic Oark General Store, two miles from the Catalpa Café, and close to many waterfalls. You are able to ride for miles on trails and backroads in your jeep or ATV/UTV to explore the Ozark National Forest. The river is perfect for swimming, fishing, canoeing, or listening to as you roast s'mores around the fire pit. You are sure to enjoy this unique piece of paradise!

Great location, plenty of shade, 100 yards from the river bank, fire ring, cooking grate, chairs views of the fog enveloped Boston Mountains. Over highly recommended and we will stay again.

This cabin is incredibly unique as well as adorable! We enjoyed our stay here quite a bit. The location is rather remote, so getting anywhere that isn't on the mountain takes a while but that was part of the appeal for us. The cabin was really cold at first, but turning the AC off and then back on again made it super comfortable. It was a lovely trip!

The wagon was clean and comfortable. Was disappointed that there was no access to the swimming hole. The place could’ve used a picnic table.. there was a lot of trash around the dumpster when we left. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

Hi Genevieve, Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re so glad you found the wagon clean and comfortable. That's exactly what we strive for. We also appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, a family of raccoons recently discovered our dumpster, and while we’ve tried securing the lid with bungee cords, they’re surprisingly clever! We’re actively working on a better long term solution to keep the area clean. A picnic table is a wonderful suggestion, and we’ll definitely keep that in mind as we continue making improvements to the property. As for the swimming hole, there is a mowed walking path just in front of the wagon that leads to the Mulberry River, and many of our guests enjoy the short walk down to the water. We’re sorry if that wasn’t clear during your stay. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your thoughts. The covered wagon was great! Pet friendly, made for a nice place to enjoy the surrounding area! Bed was a touch on the hard side but we adjusted and made it work! The property and surrounding River is gorgeous! We would stay again!

Cabin was adorable, very clean, AC worked great. Plenty of pillows. The bed was a little firmer than we're use to but not horrible. Area is mowed so you can walk or drive to the river. Beautiful area that's easy to find with directions given, but you may want to screenshot those directions because I didn't have service to open the app. Thankfully the little store in Oark has wifi you can connect to. Overall it was a wonderful weekend! Definitely recommend!
