The house has a nice log cabin feel. If you want to be in the mountains, it is a great place to stay. We enjoyed our time!

Very peaceful and clean. It is an older cabin, but it has been well maintained. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The cabin is big and very accommodating. So thankful for Cathy for allowing us to bring our doggies. The beds are comfortable and plenty of sitting room and clean. We all loved the pool table. I loved that we were able to park under a 2 car carport especially since we showed up in rain. We met Cathy on our check in to the cabin as she was leaving and she is a very nice host. The road to get to the cabin has some steep turns (2-3) and is about 15 minutes from the parkway which none of this bothered us but if you’re not use to it, it might. This made our second time staying in this cabin and we would again. We had a question come up and Cathy was very easy to get ahold too.

Wonderful Stay at a beautiful place@

The cabin was absolutely perfect for us. It was so fun playing pool, sitting in the hot tub and just enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Yes, Quails retreat offers large rooms, dining for 10 set up in the dining area and another table for 4 from the large kitchen. The game room noise does not reach the upstairs front bedroom. So glad you had a great stay!

Our family of 7 very much enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room. The hot tub and game room added to our enjoyment. Good communication with the host. Would stay again!

Quails Retreat is a great cabin! Well zoned for a large group. Large kitchen and plenty of seating for dinners. See the 7' Christmas tree in the great room.

Shagbark

Wonderful stay in an amazing cabin. Second time staying in this cabin. Plenty of room for the extended family. Very comfortable. Lovely location

The number of rooms, beds, gameroom, etc were as advertised- roomy and appropriately appointed and very clean. All appliances, games, electronics, etc. were in good working order. While this is an older cabin, it is an awesome space perfect for an extended family weekend. There were many activities that we didn't take advantage of. Communication with the owner was excellent with no surprises.However, there are a few things that I would work on if I were the owner.1. Landscaping is overrun and needs one day of TLC to show off the home and lot better.2. Small things such as lampshades unsecured etc.

Thank you. So glad you enjoyed Quails Retreat. It holds a large group well. Big kitchen, dining seating for 10, game room separate from the bedrooms, mountain view and side yard firepit area.
