This is our 2nd time staying at this resort. As always, the host(s) were very friendly and responsive. Our A/C stopped working and they immediately fixed the issue. Very comfortable and clean rooms, excellent boat watching property on the river. Highly recommend.

Exceptional

I can not say enough good about this property, the owners, or the beautiful and charming setting. The owner reached out to me prior to my visit to ask if I was interested in a room upgrade to one with a waterfront view, at no extra costs, due to a last minute cancellation. When I arrived, I called due to a question, and the owner Wendy was so kind and responsive. The room was so nice and the views were exceptional. We went to neighboring Saint Micheals one day, enjoyed a dinner and breakfast on the last day at Robert Morris Inn, but spent most of our time enjoying the views. Reading in the chairs bayside with a book and watching the sunset with wine we’re spectacular. Definitely worth a trip and I’ll be sure to book again when I’m looking to stay in the area.

Sandaway Suites & Beach in Oxford, MD has a rich hotel history from being a centennial house to part of the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Club. Guests at Sandaway's historic Victorian Lodge now enjoy modern amenities in Oxford, Maryland. Sandaway has been owned and managed by the Gibson family for over 5 decades. Wendy and Ken Gibson purchased the Robert Morris Inn and Sandaway from Wendy's father, George White Jr., in the year 1975. For many years Sandaway was known as the Robert Morris Lodge, serving as an annex to the historic Robert Morris Inn. Their son Ben Gibson is currently the Innkeeper of Sandaway Suites & Beach. Ben loves working in the family business and enjoys getting out on the water.
