Modern Historic Home ~ Private 50 Acre Getaway ~ Nature Lover's Dream! Sleeps 8

"Pincherry Acres" is the perfect Northern Michigan retreat. Centrally, located only 8 miles from Charlevoix, Petoskey and Boyne City. For the summer months enjoy the beauty of either Lake Michigan or Lake Charlevoix. In the winter, close to both Nub's Nob and Boyne. 20 minutes from Castle Farms, Walloon Lake, and 10 minutes to Bay Harbor.

This modern farmhouse (completely renovated) is located on 50 acres, you can enjoy the built in outdoor kitchen, a picnic on the top of the meadow or hike, snowshoe the many trails in the wooded forest. In the fall, outdoor sportsmen are welcome (with additional permissions). ATVs are welcome with a liability waiver.

You're welcome to explore the 50 acres however, this is a shared property so you may see other nature enthusiasts on the property.

Winter in N Michigan

The property and home were fantastic - a great setup for a family of four. We also enjoyed cooking at the property, they had a gas stove which is a bonus for us. Communication was great as well. Would definitely recommend.

Great spot for family ski vacation

The house was clean, spacious, well-stocked, cozy and the beds were super comfortable. Kids loved the bunk bed nook and it was great having our dog able to join us. The outside space was wonderful for walking the dog and we enjoyed the trails into the woods. Location was perfect for visiting Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain. We would recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

We love our stays here, and this was no exception. The location is great for skiing in the winter and to access local restaurants. The house is clean and has all the things you need when staying for a long weekend. It was super convenient that the driveway was plowed for us without asking when we stayed during the winter.

Great Family Stay!

We loved staying at Pincherry Acres for our family’s long weekend. The house is clean and had everything we needed for our family. We love the proximity to Petoskey and also to Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands for skiing. This was a return trip and we will be back again!

Great Place!

This house was soooo nice. Insanely spacious and such a nicely furnished and re-done home. The only one small negative is the sheets seemed old and very used. They felt like they had sand on them (I think just from many washes and use). Other than that, great stay!

Quiet farm in great location

Enjoyed a short after-Christmas stay before the kids went back to school. House was clean and very pleasant. Communication was good. Great location - close to Petoskey and Boyne. Hoping to stay again!

Lovely spot for family vacation

The home and property was charming and perfect for our family of five. Our younger two loved sleeping in the hideaway bunk beds with reading nooks. Great location to easily drive to Boyne, Charlevoix, and Petoskey. Watched fireworks over the lake and had a great time exploring the nearby parks and beaches.

Excellent Up North winter getaway

We loved this renovated old farmhouse! Very comfortable and great amenities, and dog friendly! We loved the trails on the 50 acres behind the house, beautiful field and wooded property. We were so fortunate that the snow came just before we got there and were able to X-country ski on the property as well as enjoy snowboarding at Boyne and Nubs Nob. Close to Boyne City and Petoskey for restaurants. Lovely winter getaway!

The property and home were gorgeous!! Autumn nights were spectacular at the fire-pit!! The location was key as we spent most of our free time in Charlevoix and Petoskey!

Golf Trip

We had a terrific time at the house. The house is fully renovated and nicely kept. We spent many hours in the backyard around the fire pit gazing at the incredible stars. I would 100% recommend this property.

Perfectly located for an epic week

We love the area, but felt we needed to stay on the water to have a great time. Not true! This oasis has so much and is located close to so many great attractions. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay!

Country Farm house

Check in/out was simple. Lesa gave us some good ideas. Nice reconstructed farm house near Boyne City, Petoskey and Charlevoix. Nice place to stay. Really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended.

Awesome house

House was in great condition. Easy check in process. The bunks were a big hit for the kids. Beautiful property. A bit of a drive to town, however the benefit for hiking and sledding far outweigh those extra few minutes in the car. Definitely would stay again and recommend.

Peaceful Haven

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property! Morning coffee on the front porch was a great way to start the day. The restored farmhouse and its acreage provide many ways to enjoy nature. On a clear night, the night sky is impressive. The owner is quick to respond to all cares and concerns. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Winter Retreat

We wanted to get away from the city and enjoy the slopes and the home was perfectly located to everything. The house was so beautifully remodeled and felt like a cozy farmhouse. We explored the trails with our Mini Aussie and enjoyed cooking and sipping wine in the evenings. We will definitely be back in the summer! Highly recommended!

Amazing!

My friends and I loved staying here. It is a super cute, updated farmhouse and the land is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed having bonfires & grilling out on the property. Everything was within 20 minutes of the property. Super easy to get to Downtown Charlevoix & Boyne City!

Beautiful Charlevoix Farmhouse

Pincherry Farms exceeded our expectations. What a lovely, welcoming farmhouse! Not only was it exceptionally clean, the mix of old and new decor lent to its charm. They made great use of their space by creating fun little nooks. We loved that it was set in the country far enough away to be relaxing, but relatively close to both Charlevoix and Petoskey. We loved everything about this farmhouse. We will definitely be back!
