Nichols Mountain ATV Hideaway

This property sits in a secluded area in the Ouachita National Forest. It’s just minutes from the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trailhead and you can ride your ATV right to the trails!

It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. It also has a common area with a bunk bed. The home has a well stocked kitchen, and a variety of family games to play as well.

This property is perfect for those who want to come enjoy the peace and quiet, unplug, and get away! It is also near great hiking trails, ATV trails, and an entire national forest to explore for the more adventurous type!

Outside Security Camera on site - camera is located outside just above the front porch. It films the front of the house and the road.

Thermostat Setting: 71 degrees is a comfortable temperature. Setting the thermostat below 70 runs the risk of causing damage to the coolant system.

Best place to stay near Mena, AR

The cabin was definitely a nice place to stay. The cabin was clean, stocked, and ready to be used when we got there and the instructionscwere very clear. No fuss, just a simple and delightful stay.

Great Place!

The host were great at communicating, the house had everything we needed and the location was short distance from the river and within riding distance to the trailhead. Enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Location for Riding

Great property location, excellent house layout for multiple people, host was very attentive and had great communication, house was stocked with everything needed. Overall an excellent place to stay!

Beautiful property

The cabin is beautiful-very clean and fully stocked with anything we needed. We loved exploring the area and having some much needed time away from home. We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic Thanksgiving Getaway

The property was perfect for our family to get away and explore during our Thanksgiving break. We loved everything about the home and the area. A couple days of riding trails and relaxing by the fire was just what we needed.

Peaceful get-away

Wonderful property. Best part is the seclusion. Great hiking, beautiful scenary. But at short 30 minute drive you can be in town, but we loved being OUT OF TOWN

Beautiful house

I would rent here again in a heartbeat. This was the most lovely home, the most accommodating hosts, and a beautiful, quiet location. We had easy access to the trails and that is why we came.

Little Summer Ride

Really enjoyed our time here. It had everything we needed and was the perfect location for our trip. The owner communicated perfectly. We will be back! It’s perfect for anyone wanting to ride Wolf Pen Gap and all the surrounding areas. I loved the location to the area swimming holes. It was great to cool off after a long day of riding.

Perfect getaway

This property was perfect for my family and I! It offered all of the comforts of home in a rural setting that allowed us to ride directly from the cabin to the trails! Our host was also super accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful!

The house was amazing. Had absolutely everything we needed. Plenty of space for everyone! Hosts were attentive and nothing was overlooked. The area was great. We had an amazing time and def plan on visiting again.

Nice property, interior was neat and stocked well. Beds were comfortable. Connect four game was a hit. Was great, I enjoyed the little to no cell service! Would have no problem returning for another stay.

Great Get Away

If you want to get away from everything, this is the place to do it. Very peaceful location in the mountains stocked with board games and puzzles for the whole family. The gas fireplace was easy to light and enjoy without all the work of real wood.

Great Place!!!

The property exceeded our expectations. The whole ambience of the house was much better than we anticipated. Everything we needed was there, especially cookware. The host gives clear, concise directions. I absolutely loved the place and it was very cozy and decorated to the T. I will definitely be back.

Hitting the trails!

We wanted somewhere we could easily access Wolfpen Gap trails and this place was perfect. We were able to jump in side by side and drive to trailhead from property. House was clean and orderly plus it had everything we needed.

Perfect little cabin in the woods!

Very cute cabin with all the amenities you could want for an awesome stay. Very helpful guide inside to show all the awesome watering holes in the area and other sites to see. Can ride ATVs directly to the trails from the house which is pretty amazing. Spotless house and really gives you a cabin in the wooods feeling. House owners are very attentive and helpful! Will definitely be staying again!

Best place to stay for ATV riding.

Love the house very well equipped with everything you need. Alicia was very careing she checked on us and gave us lot's of information. The house is located near all the trails to ride. Information in the book at the house helped us alot. You will not be disappointed with this location and the owners. Thanks for everything.

Great hide away

I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely return. The house was clean, well stocked, great location and the host had the best communication and recommendations for the area. The loaction was so nice and quite. It was at the end of the main road so there isnt much traffic. We were able to park our truck and trailer get in our SxS and ride everywhere. So many amazing trails, waterfalls and views to be had in this area. Its a must stay!!

We purchased this property in 2019 because we love all things being outdoors! We enjoy camping, hiking, and swimming in the nearby swimming holes! Coming here is a time for our family to unplug, relax, and enjoy being together.

Our family has been coming to this area for years! It became a Thanksgiving tradition to go on a family backpacking trip on the Caney Creek Trail just 20 minutes from this property. We spend 2 or 3 nights on the trail and then head home. We loved the area so much, my husband started looking to purchase a home for a getaway! We found this perfect location and love coming here! The drive through the mountain is breathtaking, the fall colors are beautiful, and the seclusion from the hustle and bustle is the break we didn't know we always needed.

The view from the living room and family room caught our eyes immediately! We've looked out the windows and watched deer walk across the property! The porch provides an opportunity for great conversation while enjoying the breeze and shade from the large trees on the property.
