Conveniently located house with plenty of sleeping options. Kitchen is stocked with lots of cooking supplies and the living room has lots of cozy seating for watching movies with the entire family. Our dog was happy there too.

Great spot, plenty of space

Convenient location and our kids really enjoyed having the space downstairs to hang out. It was also great being able to bring our dog along with us.

Perfect location

The house was very lovely and had everything needed for a great break out of the city. Very close to all that is needed in Mangawhai. Thanks again for letting us stay.

Great location

Comfortable friendly feel. Awesome deck so indoor - outdoor living was great. Well equipped with lots of games for the kids on our wet day.

Lovely batch.

Great batch with everything you could want in a batch. Great decks to sit on. Very good communication from owners. Had a lovely stay.

Pet friendly with a fantastic sunny north facing deck as well as a smaller secure deck where my dog couldn’t roam. The property itself wasn’t fenced so we kept a close eye on our dog or kept her on the lead when needed. Location good - we walked to the beach and back & just 2 mins drive to shops. We were there late autumn so were grateful for all the extra wool blankets available. Easy check in and good communication.

A great weekend away

We had a great weekend away in Mangawhai. The house was great, lovely and clean and with a separate space for the kids downstairs worked out really well. It was wonderful to be able to have our dog with us and he loved walks down at the esturary. The deck was a great place for meals and was lovely and private. We would recommend staying here and will definitely be back. Thanks for having us.

Short Stay

There was no hot water for the shower. Lovely spot and nice TV and lounge area but fir short stays the cleaning fee makes it expensive for just 2 in a short Stay .

Hi Jenny, sorry to hear that you could not get hot water out of the shower, I have checked it today and it is working, as noted in the house access notes, you need to move the lever all the way to the right, also had you turned the hot water cylinder on. Re the cleaning fee, send me your bank account details and I will refund you $25.00. Rob

Big family style bach

Our stay at the Eyres bach was wonderful. Great location an east walk to the Estuary and into Wood Street for supplies. We stayed as 3 mums and 4 kids. Big downstairs bedroom held 4 people easily. Comfortable beds and all amenities such as fans for summer. Such a good spot for a family to relax and big enough for extended families. Thank you Rob and Jane.

Great homely feeling

Everything was great! Nice and airy with lots of doors and windows to smell and feel sea breeze. Comfortable sleeping and bedding. All appropriate home wares for cooking. Great large size refrigeration. Ample seating in dinning room, lounge and superb decking area for outdoor eating/entertainment. Easy to keep clean. Homely.

Great place. No extras, ie no towels, sheets, milk, soap etc.

It was good, perhaps great for a bigger family for a week or so in summer, it would offer a real nz holiday. A little expensive for one night due to fees etc.

Nice Traditional NZ Bach

Overall a nice traditional beach Bach dwelling. Comfortable and had everything need for sunny days and those inside rainy days too. Rooms were plenty and allowed everyone their own space. Being pet friendly we bought both our Beagles aling. The township is pleasant and the Saturday markets interesting though a bit small. Would recommend to others and would book again.

Lovely Homely Bach!

Comfortable, sunny family bach. Lovely big deck with french doors to open up and let the sunshine in and outdoor furniture to sit out the slow days. Had all the things you need, including a fan for a hot night. You can tell this property has hosted some lovely family holidays. Thank you for sharing it with us

Summer Break

This is our 3rd time staying at this property. Fantastic location. Bach has everything you need. It is great we can bring our dog as not many properties allow pets! Thanks Rob and Jane for letting us stay in your lovely bach The Clark family

Absolutely seemless and more than met our expectation for a relaxing holiday. Great location...lots of space and everything we needed on hand. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Sunny and Spacious

This bach has a great upper living area, lots of space inside and out with a great outdoor area. Its a good old kiwi bach and has a relaxed holiday feel. The downstairs area was a little musty, but am sure with a bit of airing it would be great. We didn't need to use it during our stay. Really appreciated the cold bottled water in the fridge. A great bach in a great location.

Great stay at Mangawhai!

Property was great for a family get away, we all enjoyed being able to spend Christmas together in a beautiful location. We did have a little issue with the water, especially in the shower, it seemed to not smell very pleasant, may have been something in the water tank or something to do with the pipes
