Welcome to Mountain Retreat! You will love this newly renovated home with a large great room and a fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances. Additionally, each of the 3 bedrooms all have their own full bathroom. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by cool pines and is close to Shopping, Hiking trails, nearby Lakes all within a few miles and a park only walking distance from the home that has a Frisbee golf course, Hiking Trails, Softball Fields and Tennis courts all within walking distance.

Great Stay!

Our family had a great stay at Mountain Retreat! It's so close to the Show Low city park and pool and Safeway. It was a great homebase for our hiking adventures also. Would highly recommend! recommend

Beautiful place!

Such a cute place, I loved it and the park right across the street was awesome! My husband loved the disc golf course, we will be back soon!

Perfect house for a family getaway!

spacious home

Spacious home with three well sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom is in the other side of the home making for a great quiet area for the adults. The gated in front yard was a great space for kids. The neighbors were very friendly!

Perfect for family of 7!

My wife and I stayed here with our 5 kids to attend a memorial service for a family member. The house was beautiful and larger than it appeared in pictures. Walking distance to a great park. Definitely recommend staying here.

Retreat from the Heat

6 of us and 2 dogs had a lovely 3 day stay. The yard was fenced so dogs were all set! The neighbors were wonderful. But the very best for folks in our age group was a bathroom in each bedroom!! Enjoyed our stay, fit us well.

Quiet Neighborhood Great Location

This was perfect for our family. With 7 kids and two adults there was plenty of room. The house was clean and welcoming. The city park was literally a two minute walk and though the neighborhood is very quiet, the location is close to shopping, gas, etc. I highly recommend this property.

Quick Show Low Trip

Great property within less than a minute walk to the Show Low Park which my kids loved. Clean and very nicely updated space with lots of character. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen for cooking and my kids loved the welcome Smores :) Enjoyed our stay!

Wonderfully Cozy

We had an amazing stay. We were in walking distance to baseball tournament fields. We wished we could have explored Show Low. It’s a beautiful town with the nicest people. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly and picturesque. There were parks and trails with walking distance. The owners have an awesome binder with lists of things to do. For a baseball moment m the home provided all the amenities it lists. Three bedrooms each had a bathroom which meant my sons had their own bedroom and bathroom, no lines or waiting. Seriously an amazing stay. Th house is beautiful, the amenities are perfect and the neighborhood was an amazing community. Thank you!

Thanksgiving trip

The king size mattress was very comfortable. The floors weren't very clean, but that was probably due to the vacuum not working properly. The 3 toilets had urine all over them. We had to clean them before using them. The showers had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in them. The kitchen didn't have any baking pans to use, so we bought a pizza pan that we left there for the next people. The outside of the house had spiderwebs everywhere and the rain gutters were full of pine needles. Over all, our stay was great. We were thankful to have a place to stay that was able to accommodate a big family.

Show low Labor Day trip

We enjoyed our stay a Mountain Retreat. Large spacious rooms, kitchen and living area. Short walk to the city park and short drive to both lakes, grocery store just down the road. What was not so good was the cleanliness of the floors and the back yard where the BBQ grill was and fire pit needed some tending too. Would have loved to see the grill and picnic table on the front deck. It was a long way from the kitchen to the back grill. Found Dining room chairs very uncomfortable. Just a little more TLC and this place would be a gem

Restful Retreat

My family and my good friend and her two kids were in heaven. We had to get away from being cooped up in the city and needed some fresh air. This stay was perfect for 3 adults and kiddos. Our kids loved being close to the park, which is a very nice park and the store being so close was perfect. We hope to make it to the lakes,but we had work from home priorities. It was a perfect getaway. Thanks to Brian and Carol!!!

Nice Getaway

The location is great, especially if you have kids, just a short walk from the very nice city park. The park also has a lovely walking trail, exercise equipment and a disc golf course. It is a quick (less than 10 minute) drive to Fool Hollow Lake and about an hour drive to Hawley Lake on the Apache Reservation for some great fishing. The house is newly remodeled, comfortable and looks nice. Each bathroom is attached to a bedroom. It worked well for our party of 3 adults and 4 kids. We are from the Los Angeles area and drove here to meet family from OK for a pandemic vacation. There is a Safeway nearby that does Instacart, and Walmart delivers. People in this area don’t consistently wear masks or social distance, but you can have groceries delivered and since it is not particularly populous (at least compared to LA) it’s relatively easy to avoid close encounters with people outdoors. We took our kids to mini golf and go karts and a pumpkin patch which are all things we wouldn’t even consider at home due to the crowds (and honestly those things probably wouldn’t be open at home anyway.) There is a caretaker who lives across the street who is extremely friendly, present and available if you need anything. This is obviously a very tight knit, friendly neighborhood. We had more interaction with the neighbors here than we’ve ever had at a rental house. If we were coming back to Show Low we would stay here again.

Location was good.

Spent a week at the property and we enjoyed our stay. It had plenty of room for a multigenerational family vacation. The yard was perfect for the kids to play and the park down the street was amazing. The windows do let cold air in so keeping the house warm got challenging at night but there was also space heaters provided. I would stay here again if the need came up.

Attended a Murder trial

Our stay was enjoyable at the property and the location was perfect with the park down the street for family that stayed in separate locations it was perfect. We wanted to grill steaks one night, but the grill was out of gas. Looks like the previous tenants left the valve open. The stay at the property was the best thing about our trip as we were in court all day and coming 'home' to relax and take in the day was very helpful and assisted the family in dealing with the case.

Great house!

We had a great time staying here! The house was clean, nicely layed out for us- traveled with 4 kiddos, kitchen had everything you need, and both back and front yards were fenced in! Beds were comfortable too and therr was plenty of extra bedding. The location was spot on as well! Close to City Park so we could walk the 5mins to the playground or a bit longer to the dog park. All activities we were interested in were within 15 mins from the house. Neighborhood was quiet and neighbors were friendly. I would definitely stay here again!
