A wonderful place for a family get away in the depths of winter. Quiet and cost with lots of space for a family of 5. We will definitely stay again.

We loved staying here at Piha. A fantastic autumn spot with fireplace and heat pump, a great kitchen set up, comfy beds, right across from the beach. It was such a great set up for my friends and me to catch up, relax and stretch out. We would highly recommend staying here. Andrew is a top host.

Lovely place with plenty of space. Easy to hang out, inside and out. It is in a great location too, close to a surf club. Everything was as described. Andrew really helpful with our queries.

Another enjoyable stay

We've stayed at this lovely beach house several times and really enjoy returning each time, it feels like home. It's clean and welcoming with everything you need for a great beach getaway. We'll definitely be back.

Fabulous stay

Loved staying here, it had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, and a coffee machine! Loved how close it was to the beach, and being able to see and hear the waves from the house was magic. Would love to come again.

Great location near beach

We had a great stay in Piha. The beach is amazing. If you like a getaway in a remote location this is a great option. You’ll want your own transportation to get to this location.

We had 4 x adults stay and were very comfortable. We had our own space, and everything was easy and relaxing.

Great place to stay in Piha

Andrew’s house is ideal for a large family group. A well appointed kitchen makes home cooking a breeze. North Piha is nice and quiet.

Great holiday bach

An excellent holiday home. Beautiful surroundings and a clean, roomy and well-equipped property. The separate studio with ensuite, own TV, etc makes for a particularly spacious feel.

Kitchen was well equipped, nice open plan with dinning table having big windows that open to deck. Bonus to have the private studio where myParents could stay.Andrew was very responsive to issues and accomodating. Would stay again in a heart bit.Highly recommended to anyone.

Fabulous North Piha holiday home

We loved our stay at this great holiday home with lots of nice touches to make us feel welcome. The separate studio is a bonus and the wood burner was perfect for wintry nights. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay

We loved everything about this interesting very clean and well appointed property. Communication and check in was great. The beds are very comfortable and the living area and decks are lovely for relaxing. Spectacular beach and walks nearby. We would love to return and explore more. Many thanks!

The host made everything easy with clear communication beforehand. The house was wonderful, peaceful surrounded by nature and bird calls. The kitchen has all the things you need to cook in, plenty of room inside and out. Perfect for a large family gathering or catch up for friends. We stayed in Winter and they provided firewood would love to stay in the summer but amazing in both.

Wonderful Piha

We enjoyed everything about Andrew’s property… wonderful deck, excellent location, private, enough space for our extended family. We are American but our Kiwi son in law told us it was very “Piha Bach” like and that’s what he loves after growing up in Auckland. Also the barbecue worked great with a little cleaning! Thank you Andrew! Memorable time.

Piha Bach

Apologies for delay in review, the email went directly into my spam folder. We have stayed at this beach house several times and we love it. It is exactly as advertised, a lovely family friendly comfortable house where a group of friends can get together and relax. Everything we need is there including the fire in winter.
