We had a lovely stay with our dogs! The views were beautiful, and the beach was just a short walk away. We enjoyed going for a jog every morning and taking our dogs for walks along the beach three times a day. The house felt warm, cosy, and homely, making it a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed our stay!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we really enjoyed our stay.Its extremely relaxing and we love it is pet friendly. We'll definitely be back as we absolutely love the place.

Fabulous location, place is homely and has everything ,plenty of room for the boat,great that it's pet friendly .The hosts welcome email was helpful and descriptive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again soon.

Hi their I did was a beautiful place for my kids and I...only issue we had were the small carpet fleas but was ok once we flea bombed as house must hv been shut up for awhile.but was very beautiful stay

Thanks for the review Justin ,we weren't aware to the issue you had until we read you review. The previous renters had dogs with them,We do ask dog owners to not allow dogs on the carpets bedrooms. We will ensure the place is flee treated after visitors with dogs stay in the future. Appreciate you letting us know

Best stay in big bay

We were delighted with our stay at big bay. We were extremely impressed with the early check in and check out times and with how well set up the house was (had everything we could ever think of) and was perfect for two families. The photos really don't do the place justice, the view and location. 10/10, we will definitely be back

Our stay was amazing and just what I needed. Perfect weather made it all the more enjoyable. Even not being of swimming age did not matter. My friend and I enjoyed seeing around the Peninsula,such a unique place. The allowing of our dogs to be inside for the nights was much appreciated, being tied upon the deck was perfect if still wet. We would definitely like to have another holiday here.

Great location

We enjoyed the location, and were grateful for the fireplace and wood over a stormy long weekend. The house was pretty damp and musty when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped.

Amazing location

Our family had a winter getaway at this well equipped kiwi bach. The rooms were cosy with comfortable beds and the living area was large and supported group gatherings. Log fire and views were amazing. Pictures didn’t do it justice and will definitely return in the summertime.

Working group needing a place to crash for the week. Perfect setup for us. Everything you'll need to equip yourselves for the perfect stay.

A beautiful spot close to Auckland

We loved having the sandy beach only a few metres from the large deck at the front of the house. Sadly there was a bit of a storm and quite a lot of rain when we stayed so we weren’t able to sit outside on the deck, but the lounge and dining area was comfy and spacious and we enjoyed watching the storm rage outside!! Even at low tide there is a lovely view from the house. It would be a very safe place for kids to play and swim. A total plus for us was being able to take our dog and go for walks on the beach. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The only downside for us is that there weren’t 2 queen side beds inside the house, but that’s only our personal preference. There was a second queen size bed in the sleepout. The large sleepout was very well insulated with plywood walls and new carpet. This was a really nice place to relax and I’d like to come back some time.
