This is a fantastic property, all mod cons, roomy bedrooms, great facilities in a wonderful area.We enjoyed the property & all that Whananaki & surrounding area has to offer.

Perfect for family

Wonderful home, with stunning views! Our large family group really enjoyed our stay here and would love to visit again sometime. It really was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Fabulous Home and Location

We had an awesome couple of days staying here. We were a group of 16 and the home accommodated all of us. The location and views are spectacular and the host kept in touch before our stay with directions and activities in the area. Highly recommend if you are looking for privacy and a secure place for the kids.

Great place and amazing views

This Bach is incredibly immaculate and has plenty of room for everyone. We sat and watched the storms and incredible views and went for walks; you could tell the kids would love games on the lawn and swims at the beach. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful views from lovely house along Whanaki cooast.

The house is situated on a headland with beautiful views out to the Poor Knights and along the coast. Well situated to acess the beach at Otamure or down the strps to the private beach. We enjoyed accessing the beaches and walks in the area. Agreat place for the family from youngest to the grandparents. The bush walk at the end of the section was beautiful with many birds.Roomy living area to enjoy the views on a winter day.

Paradise!

Photos do not do justice. Fantastic location, incredibly private, own beach, though there are a lot of stairs to get up & down to the beach. 100% will be back

Stunning

Fantastic piece of paradise. Lots of bird life around the property. Bit of a steep climb up from the beach but thats part of the natural beauty here. Numerous rock pools to explore. Amazing other beaches around the area. The house is very comfortable with an incredible lounge view. A great winter experience.

Great summer getaway

A beautiful setting with plenty of space for our party of 14 people - 6 adults and 8 teenagers. It was great having access to the little bay down below. Stairs to bay had been well maintained and it was a good workout for us all. Major bonus was having the use of a mooring in the bay as it meant we didn’t have to take the boat and JetSki out of the water each day. Easy and quick trips to the Poor Knights and Whale Bay by boat from this location and a great area to take off from for a spot of fishing. We also did local walks and enjoyed spending time in the area. Great communication with owner.

Absolute Paradise!!!

An absolute gem of a property, nestled away on its own private peninsula. With breathtaking views we enjoyed soaking up the sun with a cold one in hand on the deck and sometimes at the picnic bench down below . Anyone who enjoys the outdoors and especially the ocean will love this getaway . Must admit a bit of a trek down to the what you could say is a private beach / cove but definitely well worth it ( the owner has really splashed out with great pathway and newly built steps which greatly assist the walk ) once down at the beach it’s like a private oasis .Snorkling was excellent and the kids and teens loved it ( great fish life abound all along the shoreline ) . House was very clean and all that is needed is on-site . Communication from the owner is excellent. Small Dairy/ Cafe close by for any supplies that you might have forgotten is only a short 3 min drive away . Highly recommend this beautiful spot on one of the best coastlines to anyone looking for an awesome getaway from the hustle and bustle .

Family Holiday

Highly highly recommend to stay at this beautiful spot. The place meet our expectations and more. Perfect for families and larger groups. Steve was fantastic to deal with. We were all blown away!!!

What a location!

We loved being at this place. Comfy and spectacular. Lots of nearby walking options. We got v detailed instructions fm the host re how to look after the house.

Old Mates Annual Holiday

We booked this property for our "Old Mates" Annual holiday. From the beginning, the communication was clear and helpful. The property was exactly as listed, very clean, modern and comfortable. There was no evidence that another party had stayed prior to us. The owner was extremely helpful. The scenery, coastal access and walks is amazing !

Midwinter summer getaway

We had such an incredible stay at this property. Stunning views awesome walks and a selection of beautiful beaches at your doorstep. Will definitely be staying again and couldn’t recommend this enough.

Take a trip to paradise

This place was absolutely amazing the views were second to none !! The house lovely and inviting roomy and warm. Perfect even in winter with the log fire!! Plenty of seafood down at the private beach. To make this stay even better it would of been good to be able to use the wardrobes , which had clothes in them and WIFI for everyday purposes. I still rate this place 10/10

Simply The Best!

Fantastic experience starting with the communication from Steve as soon as our booking was accepted. Property is located in a sublime setting with gorgeous coastline views, accessible private beach. Dog friendly. Clean with plenty of space inside though we were outside due to the fabulous location. Handy local shop with fish and chips and other essentials. Local walks. Can't wish for more We will be back 100% next time with fishing rods! Can't thank Steve enough

Magic Escape

We had a long weekend in this gorgeous, peaceful place. The owner was great to communicate with and we had all the info we needed. The house was perfect for 3 families to stay in and everyone LOVED the break. Would be great to go back in summer, but even as a winter break we enjoyed the outdoors and exploring the local area.

Stunning Location

Beautiful Northland, so much to explore and then come back mid winter to a fire. House easily catered for our large group. Loved it.

Paradise Found

An exceptional place to forget the woes of the world. Privacy, views, a home that welcomes and swallows people up. Every box ticked. Wonderful hosts, always available and always patient. Drink it in, your soul will benefit! Especially loved the quirky walkway that made sure we all had exercise, while trying to be so lazy. Superb safe beach. Great snorkelling. Rating to 5 stars just isn't enough.

Great location and fantastic views

Amazing place to stay with incredible views and lovely beach. Lots of room for the kids to run around outside when we weren't out adventuring or on the beach. Just be careful with kids on the loop track - hard to see the drop offs. Overall, a great stay.
