Such a wonderful place to stay, take time out and really relax in the beautiful north. The hosts are awesome! A real highlight was being lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the ocean.

We had a fabulous stay. Sue and Hugh were very friendly hosts and the bach was immaculate. It had everything we needed and was such a lovely stay. View is amazing and the walk to the beautiful beach was perfect. Best of all we took our dog who had a ball as well. So happy we found this stay.

A beautiful spot to enjoy the views and a base for the surrounding area. While the cottage is all on one level, the access is down quite a slope. If accessible accommodation is required you should probably ask to use the top cottage which is easier to get to.The hosts Sue and Hugh are on site, very friendly and helpful.

Wow!!! We needed a quick getaway from daily routine and some rest for the soul.We found paradise instead. The cottage had everything we needed, super clean and the bed was so comfortable. The beach a short walk down a well-maintained garden path.Deck is sheltered from the dreaded south easter, and you can enjoy the sun and stunning views. We were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins play in the water from the comfort of our deck chairs.Thank you Sue and Hugh for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We definitely will be back in the summer.

Sue and Hugh are lovely people and were extremely kind to us and very helpful. Due to the Wellington storm, our time at Coopers Beach was cut short but we really enjoyed our short stay at the Retreat. Stunning views, very comfortable, very clean and very well equipped, a lovely garden and easy access to the beach for great walks. Hopefully we may visit the area again at some point and Coopers Beach Retreat will be our first choice of somewhere to stay.

Wow. What an amazing place. Sue and Hugh were amazing hosts, the property was better than expected and access to the beach was very special. The property is dog friendly with a gate closing off the deck and an outside hose for a wash down after the beach. The property is fully kitted out and the sound of the ocean at night is incredible. It’s also warm and airy and did I mention fully kitted out for a stay. They have thought of everything. We will definitely be recommending and staying again.
