DAVINAS - Beach-front Holiday Apartment

The apartment is located right on Coopers beach, elevated enough to see the incredible views across Doubtless Bay with a very short walk across the lawn to the beach track that leads onto the golden sand beach. Please note there is a short steep section on the public track.

Located underneath the main house with its own private entrance; there are three bedrooms with 4 beds, one bathroom and a great deck to enjoy the views!
The apartment has a full kitchen and seated dining area, a BBQ or try the many nearby cafes and restaurants.

Kayaks, bodyboards and a paddleboard are available for sea-lovers, or stay on terra-firma and be king of the sand-castles, building your sand-mansion in the shade of the pohutukawa trees.

Coopers Beach Village (3min drive) has all the essentials for your holiday including a Four Square, Butcher, Beach Box Cafe, Thirsty Liquor, Pharmacy, Tackle Shop, Medical Centre and hair salon.

Or head in the other direction to Mangonui Village for arts and crafts, fabulous ice-cream shop (c'mon ice-cream nachos!), restaurants and cafes including the famous Mangonui Fish Shop.

Mill Bay boat ramp is 3 min drive - bring your boat and explore the harbour!

Davinas on the Beach is the perfect base to explore the Far North:
Day trip to Cape Reinga, Te Paki stream, 90 Mile Beach.
Explore the Kerikeri, Whangaroa, Paihia.

We love sharing our little piece of paradise with people from all over the world so they can create their own memories at Coopers Beach.

Wonderful stay. Relaxing, comfortable and perfect location. We stayed 2 weeks. Kitchen was well fitted out for basic cooking. Excellent laundry. Very comfortable beds. Highly recommended. We will stay again!

Beautiful Spot.

A wonderful place to stay with Canadian visitors. Stunning views and easily accessible to a beautiful sandy beach. The apartment is spacious and well equipped.

Modern, clean flat in a great location

A really great place to stay. The flat has everything you need and a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. Just a short walk, can be mostly on the beach, to the Cooper's Beach shops.

Great place to stay for small family close to beach

We stayed in Davina’s for a long weekend at the end of Feb. Very close to the beach but fully fenced so great for kids. Cosy and comfortable, is everything you need for a getaway to the beach. Highly recommended and Ina , the host is lovely.

Perfect little spot for a getaway

This house had everything we needed and more! Beds were super comfy and shower pressure was top notch 😍 Perfect spot close to the beach and also 5 minutes ish drive between 2 small towns with delicious dining options.

David and Ina (Dav-inas) built this property as their forever home. A special place to enjoy their retirement fishing, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. They decided to add the unit downstairs to host their children and grandchildren for school holidays, birthdays and Christmas to make incredible memories at the beach as a family.

Over time, they decided to share their little piece of paradise with people from all over the world and opened Davinas so that people could create their own memories at Coopers Beach.

Their son Brett now hosts Davinas with the same philosophy. Every year we create more beautiful memories at Coopers Beach ourselves, and it's really special to be able to give that to other people. We deliberately set the rates below the market to make it accessible to especially to families.

From the lounge and the deck you'll see sky, ocean, pohutukawa trees, norfolk pines, golden sand, families playing on the beach. A green lawn in front of you. You'll feel the gentle sea breeze. Hear the tui during the day and at night maybe kiwi calls.
The apartment is at the end of a cul-de-sac and beach facing. It's quiet, calm and it washes away the busy world you came from within minutes.

"DAVINAS" although part of our home has own entrance and no stairs. Stunning view, quiet and private, great neighbours, safe swimming, sub tropical mini climate featuring frangipani, hibiscus, bananas and palms.
