Our South Haven vacation rental boasts a clean, simple style that will remind you of HGTV, while still preserving the cottage's cozy 152 year old charm! Unwind on the front porch rockers or in front of the living room fireplace. The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops, two full bathrooms with double quartz vanities and custom tiled showers.

The cottage layout includes a downstairs queen bedroom, an upstairs queen bedroom, an upstairs loft twin bunk bed room (located between the two upstairs bedrooms), and an upstairs full bedroom. We've thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, from kids' toys and books to beach chairs, a cooler bag, and games.

Our location is unbeatable—just two blocks from the beach at the blue stairs, where you can witness stunning Lake Michigan sunsets. We're also a stone's throw from the amazing Kids Corner playground, a short walk to the splash pad, and five to six blocks from downtown. Additionally, we're steps away from the paved Van Buren State Park Trail and a short ride to the Kal-Haven 33.5-mile trail for biking, running, or walking. For unforgettable experiences, consider booking a fishing charter or a sailboat cruise (ask us for a referrals).

Our cottage is open year-round, offering the perfect winter retreat. You can walk, cross-country ski, or snowmobile along the Kal-Haven trail. Downtown offers ice skating in a festive atmosphere, or you can go downhill skiing at Timber Ridge or Bittersweet (35-45 miles away). After exploring, indulge in shopping and dining downtown while taking in the majestic lighthouse in all its winter glory. Then return to the cottage to relax in front of a warm, cozy fire.

The cottage sits on a double lot, featuring a custom brick paver firepit and a grassy area adjacent to a spacious brick patio/driveway. This area is perfect for bonding with family and friends around the fire or enjoying a game of cornhole (boards provided).

We have close neighbors and positive neighbor interactions are very important to us. Quiet hours outside start at 10PM and are enforced. We ask that you keep outside noise to a minimum after that time.
