This clean and cozy home in a quiet South Haven neighborhood is perfectly located two blocks from Lake Michigan and Kids Corner park and is just a short walk to downtown's shops and restaurants. With three bedrooms and three full bathrooms this home can accommodate up to 9 guest very comfortably. The large master on the main floor has been updated with a king size bed all new furniture and décor, has lots of natural light , as well as an attached bathroom. The second floor has a full bath and two bedrooms, one with three new twin beds and the other has a queen with all new comforters and bedding throughout the home. The main floor living room has all new furniture including a Pottery Barn sleeper sofa with a large coffee table for puzzles and games making it a great space to relax after a long day at the beach.
The large corner lot has plenty of space to for grilling out, enjoying the beautiful summer days or an evening roasting marshmallows around the fire pit.
We have taken a lot of pride in keeping our home clean and fresh and our goal is to make our home as inviting as possible. We enjoy vacationing in this here ourselves and hope it's a place for you to relax with friends and family as well.

Our new favorite vacation home

My husband and I spent a week in this beautiful home and daughter and her two kids joined us for a few days. Owner was very responsive in sending internet code as I had misplaced the email. House is remodeled, very clean and layout is great for a family or could work for two couples. We liked the location too. Walkable to beach or town. Hope to stay here again!

Great Stay

This is our second year staying at Here Comes the Sun. It is a great place to stay. Two blocks from town, about one block from the water and about one block from a great park for the kids.

Great house

Cozy, clean home!

Great home close to the beach, town and Kids Corner. Really clean with quality furnishings and well stocked kitchen. Loved the front porch for our morning coffee.

Successful repeat stay

This was our 7th summer in a row in SOHA. We last stayed at this property in 2021. The primary bathroom was updated since then, and it’s great! This open dining room/living room space is perfect for a group. The back deck seats a big group and feels private. Perfect location for town, beach, and playground. We love this house.

Wonderful Vacation

Kim and Kevin are excellent hosts. They have added all the extra touches that makes this house a home right down to the wine and welcoming note. The home is very clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed having coffee on the front porch each morning, riding bikes and seeing the sunsets. Always the best

We stay here every summer and have already booked for next year. The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Location is perfect – so close to South Beach and downtown – easily walkable to many locations. The host has several beach items, bikes, and yard games on site for guests to use. It’s always the best!

Take me back!!

I titled this review “take me back,” because that’s what I’ve been asking my husband to do since we left. I’ve never stayed at a vacation rental where I’ve felt more at home. Kim & Kevin are fabulous hosts & covered all the details to make their rental the perfect place to stay. House is incredibly well stocked, perfectly designed & has just the right indoor & outdoor space to enjoy your time away. Easy walk to the beach to enjoy a day in the sun or watch the most gorgeous sunsets! Great fire pit to enjoy cooler evenings outside. Bikes to enjoy trips around town. I seriously could go on & on regarding why I love this place! Can’t wait to get back there!! Thanks so much Kim & Kevin!!

Fantastic July 4th Week Stay

We love this house. This is our second summer staying here with our family ranging in age from 6 to 85. The open floor plan works great for dining and lounging in the comfy living room. Love the two bedrooms up and one down (master). The AC worked very well and appreciated the ceiling fans in almost every room. Very well equipped kitchen and a bottle of rose waiting for us from the hosts. We used the bikes in the shed almost every day since we were just a few blocks from the Van Buren trail. Location is perfect to get to kids corner and the various beach entry points.

Perfect Spot!

My parents and my family (spouse and 2 kids) take a trip together every year. We love to try new places and have never stayed in the same home twice-until now! We had such a great time last year and were so impressed with this house that we came back and plan to do it again next year. The home is cozy, extremely clean and perfectly located. It’s an easy walk to the beach or the town-my 8-year-old son had no problems keeping up and neither did my 75-year-old father. My parents stayed in the master suite on the main level while my family was upstairs. Each family had plenty of privacy and did not disturb one another, which I was concerned about as my kids can be loud. The owner takes a great deal of pride in the home and was kind and responsive. Highly recommend this vacation home!

This is a beautiful house and outside area. Everything is updated and clean. There was 7 of us and we had plenty of room. The location could not have been better. Close to the beach, downtown and the kids' playground . The WiFi went down once and Kevin and Kim got right back to us and got it going again. They were wonderful hosts. Would definitely book this place again and recommend it to others.

Wonderful stay

We were so happy with this rental. It was nicely appointed with everything we needed. We were only here for Memorial Day weekend but would have loved to stay longer.

Third time was a charm

This was our third year in a row at this amazing home. Our whole family enjoys it every time. The proximity to beach, town and all the charming homes around make it such a nice location. The home is extremely clean and well cared for. We will be back again!

Sisters Weekend

Great house and location to celebrate our twin sisters turning 60! Short walk to the beach and into town. House is nicely decorated with lots of nice touches. Loved it!

Nice location and house

We loved the house and it’s location but was a little surprised that all bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and we had to go buy some. Bag of garbage was left in kitchen when we got there. No one could figure out how to use front door lock. No lights on stairs. Also surprised that bathrooms didn’t have shampoos and body wash , every other house we have stayed in did. Kids loved all the beach toys and chairs. Nice fire pit.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Kevin’s property in South Haven. Great house in a great location. Grandchildren appreciated all the beach toys, soccer ball, etc. We had everything we needed and we were so close to the beach, the playground, and downtown.

Great house in South Haven

Great house with so many extras! Only complaint was we would have liked more TP and trash bags provided. Other than that this really is an ideal house for a South Haven vacation.

South Haven Bliss

Home was very clean and property was very well maintained. Our family had a wonderful time, the home was very comfortable, especially the beds, after long days of walking into town and down to the beach we really appreciated a good nights sleep! Kevin and Kim were wonderful to work with, the little extras like a welcoming note and bottle of wine made our stay feel like we were home. Thank you for sharing your home, we will see you next year. Stop your search- this is it.

We were blown away by our stay at Kevin and Kim’s cute house in South Haven. We’ve historically stayed across the street so we knew the location well but the sale of our former rental had us taking a chance at a new spot. And wow, we are so glad we did! We have a 1 year old and 3 year old who had the best week ever, per the 3 year old. A well-organized and clean shed full of every summer amenity you could imagine (although we thought we brought the kitchen sink- someone else’s treasures are just always better ;)). We took their advice and did something new this year- a visit to the Art Barn in Douglas. Countless walks to the beach, the playground and downtown South Haven. Kids- and us- slept peacefully every night we were there. There is a gorgeous little bunk house available for use, too…although we just took a peek because we didn’t need it. Just adorable and such a comfortable space. They’ve really thought of everything here. The layout of the house and the cleanliness were gold but my list of favorite things about our stay actually a mile long. Thanks for having us!

Great house and great location

What a great house: very clean, comfortably furnished, and well equipped. We had three generations in the house and the layout was perfect. Having a bedroom and full bathroom on the first floor was ideal. Bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable and upstairs bathroom had a walk-in shower and a bathtub. Air conditioning actually worked upstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked and knives were sharp (something that isn't always the case in rental homes.) The shed is well equipped with a great wagon, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, and lawn toys. Grilling and eating on the deck and it felt private. The house has two outdoor hoses to clean off sand when we got back from the beach. A bottle of rose and a lovely note from the owners was waiting for us when we arrived. I've already reserved our week for next year!

Our New Getaway

We usually head south for our summer vacations but decided to do something different this year. We are so glad we did! The house was perfectly located, an easy walk to the beach or downtown. It was very clean and well-maintained. We loved the layout for two families. My older parents were able to enjoy the master bedroom and bathroom downstairs while my husband and I had a bedroom upstairs next to the kids bedroom. It allowed each family to have just enough privacy. We are accustomed to rushing out to buy soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. when we arrive at a vacation home but this home was well stocked with the essentials to get us started. We loved relaxing on the covered porch and sitting around the fire pit in the backyard. The shed had everything we needed for a day at the beach including nice beach chairs, an umbrella and beach toys for the kids. There were even backyard games and bikes in the shed! The owners thought of everything when stocking this home. We were so impressed with this home and with this town!

South Haven

The house was great. Wonderful location. There was enough room for eight people easily. Decorated so nicely enjoyed being in such a nice house. They had just about anything a renter would need. South Haven is a great little town! Would definitely stay at this property again. Recommend highly. Thank you.
