Welcome to Ozark Outings — Your Lakefront Getaway!

Nothing says summer like a lake house vacation, and this second-tier home on the 43 Mile Marker delivers the perfect mix of comfort, views, and lake-life fun. From the moment you arrive (yes, even after the classic winding lake road!), you’ll be greeted by panoramic views of the water and a peaceful setting ideal for family, friends, or both.

🏡 Home Highlights:
This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom family lake house has just been updated with a remodeled, fully stocked kitchen and a brand new California king bed in the master bedroom. The other bedroom features a queen bed, and there are two queen pull-out beds in the living room, plus an extra cot for added flexibility. The home is stocked with everything you might need: linens, beach towels, extra toiletries, kitchen essentials, grill & utensils, coffee, and more. Just bring your clothes, swimsuit, and toothbrush!

🔥 Cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace or soak up the sun from our expansive back deck with unbeatable views, plenty of seating, and a large dining table for meals outdoors.

🌊 Private Dock & Outdoor Living:
One of the best features of this home is your own private dock just steps away (though fair warning — there are quite a few stairs, so be prepared for a bit of a climb on the way back up!). You’ll walk down from the deck, cross the quiet road, and descend the concrete steps to the water. But the mini workout is worth it — the dock features a lily pad, paddle board, and even a platform jump (8 ft high — adult supervision required) for an unforgettable lake day.

🚤 You’ll also have access to our private boat ramp (we’ll unlock it for you upon request), and there’s ample parking for trailers in the driveway.

🛑 Please Note:
• Our home is in a quiet cove with enforced quiet hours from 11pm–6am.
• Due to limited providers, internet may be slower on holiday weekends. If you plan to work remotely, we suggest bringing a hotspot just in case.
• The GPS can be misleading — we’ll send detailed directions via VRBO messages two weeks before check-in (or sooner, if needed!).

This home is located near Laurie and Camdenton, with tons of great food options — ask us for recs! This is our 32nd summer here at the lake, and we love helping guests make the most of it.

Eclectic design and vibes, I want to go shopping with the hosts! Great view of the lake and a flat driveway! (If you have never been to the lake, that's an amazing feature). Great place, will be back again.

The home is certainly larger than the pictures make it seem. Host is next door and very helpful. The dock is on the main channel, so swimming from the dock is wavy.

Amazing house with amazing views. Jodie was very responsive if we needed anything. Larry was on site next door and a great guy when something was needed. Also had some great conversation with. Will keep this place on my list when I plan to go back.

Our second stay at this property and we're already planning a third. As long as you're good with steps to get up and down to and from the lake/dock you'll be fine. But it is a climb. House itself is perfect for 2 couples. Clean, spacious, interesting decor, stocked as you'd expect.

This is probably one of the best VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. The place was squeaky clean, ac on, and had everything you could possibly need for the lake. The kitchen was stocked with everything- sharp knives (for a cooking mother who never has sharp knives while traveling- this is VERY important) The rooms were nice and big! The dock was also stocked with everything you could need! My family had the best time. Jodie the host also helped me find a rental company to come pick us up so we could rent a jet ski for the day. I highly recommend this place! You have a life long customer with me Jodie! THANK YOU!!!

I've been here 8 times with girlfriends. I decided to take my hubby for a couple days this year, too! He thought it was a very nice home and a very good time, never leaving the place except to the dock. The deck is lovely and expansive... so, if we weren't at the dock, we were on the deck! The home is very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was the third place we hung, which was right inside the deck's sliding glass doors! Go check it out for yourself. You'll be glad you did!

This was our 3rd visit to this property. We continue to go back because everything is always perfect. If there is anything we have a question about or need (which is rare), Jodi and her family are on it immediately. The house is spotless, the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with everything we need, and the beds are very comfortable. We always find ourselves saying, "we love this house." We will be back again and again.

This lake house was a little slice of heaven. There *Is* internet service if needed; however, if you’re needing “unplugged” time away to recharge & reset, then this is the place. Jodie, the host, is very responsive & attentive. The kitchen was conveniently & fully stocked with everything you could need & more! Walmart delivers to this address, if that matters to you. This was truly one of the few vacays we’ve been on that didn’t feel like so much more work than relaxation.

Great property. Great owners. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and had plenty of amenities. The deck was fantastic! We appreciated the attention to little details like labeled light switches, plentiful and well placed night lights, and starting with full rolls of TP and paper towels. The host was friendly and communications were quickly answered. We highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay over Easter weekend. Comfortable beds and it was nice that the pull out couch was already made-up when we opened it at night. It was one less hassle. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and dinning needs. We loved access to the dock as we were fishing and our charter LOZ Bowfishing and Adventures were able to get us directly from there. Having access to the garage was nice too since the parking out front was a squeeze. Overall we had a great weekend at this stay and wish we had the same back porch at home.

I love when the small details are noticed like the pull out beds being made - we really try to make every detail intentional and supply everything we can think of so our guests have the best stay! If yall book with us again, that open space in front of the house is for extra parking and boat trailers so you don’t have to squeeze on the concrete area! Thank you again for staying with us!!

Great spot for a lake getaway

We enjoyed our stay and the host was very easy and quick to communicate with. The walk down to the dock is steep but it allows for a beautiful view from the back deck of the house. Overall great stay!

Excellent stay at the Ozarks

We LOVED the view of the lake from the deck, eating dinners outside, night swimming and jumping off the dock. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were super clean, and the plants/decor are a nice touch. Would stay again!!

Great Lake home!

This is a beautiful home and very comfortable. Large deck, nice dock. Very homey and comfortable. A perfect spot for outdoor living and water fun, plus lots of indoor space and good amenities.

We're a small, lake lovin', family of 4. My parents, Larry and Tamie, moved away from the city life to the Lake of the Ozarks almost 30 years ago and never looked back. My brother and I grew up on the water and almost always on a boat or jet-ski. When we weren't in the water, we were out in the woods exploring or giving our Mom a heart attack by climbing trees in the front yard. I always say, it was the best place to grow up, and this all happened in the home located right next to this rental. (Your only neighbor) We are now grown and have moved away, but every time we come home, we leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The jaw dropping sunrises, the insanely bright stars, the deer roaming the front yard, the stillness of the lake, it honestly transports you. We truly hope you and your family and friends feel this same exact way when staying here!
