Welcome to Makin' Waves Lodge on Birdsong Hollow Cove!

This newly remodeled, 1200 sq ft lakefront home at Lake of the Ozarks has been updated to provide guests with everything necessary to make great memories at the lake. It offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, and floor to ceiling lake views in the living room and kitchen. The hot tub area lakeside provides a great gathering space with lake views. The living room and each bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV for those needing a break from the sun or to unwind at night. The kitchen provides all the comforts of home to cook and a Blackstone Griddle is available to barbecue for the family.

Makin' Waves Lodge is located on the north shore of the 3 mile-marker down a private road and offers seclusion, yet is only 5 minutes from the famous Bagnell Dam Strip and 10-15 minutes from all Lake Ozark and Osage Beach has to offer. The nearby Village Marina offers boat and waverunner rentals and the Boathouse Lakeside Bar and Grill is a popular lakeside destination less than 5 minutes away by car.

Outdoor space is plentiful including a large covered deck with a brand new Blackstone griddle and Smart TV, martini deck with covered gazebo, and a newly upgraded dock complete with picnic table, mini-fridge, and jumping platform. After a long day swimming or skiing and tubing, relax your muscles in the covered hot tub. It's always fun to end your day and watch the sunset with a fire and s'mores in the the fire pit.

Wonderful stay! Hot tub and deck areas were great for our girls trip. Kitchen was well stocked. House was clean. The cove was quite busy due to the marina nearby, but we were still able to swim with no issues. Overall we loved our stay!

Great lakefront property. Amazing dock space and fully equipped kitchen for cooking. Hot tub, grilled, patio sets, etc. Can't wait to come back again.

The check-in process went smoothly and Andre kept us informed timely of the process. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is perfectly located, close to attractions and restaurants as well as being able to disconnect and enjoy nature.

Fantastic Value

Fantastic property in a great location that was exactly as advertised. The home had plenty of space for our group with a gorgeous multi-tiered deck and friendly neighbors. The house rules and checkout procedures were incredibly reasonable. Perfect stay, no notes.

We had a fabulous time staying at the property. Andrew responded very quickly and was excellent about helping out. All of the neighbors were very kind and also spoke highly of him! The house offered plenty of space for our group, the outdoor seating was fabulous, and the view was great. We’ll be back!

the whole house was great- the kitchen the hot tub but our favorite place was the covered deck right off the kitchen. I think we spent our whole time there, looking out at the lake and enjoying the view. It was exactly what we needed and even made friends with a few kittens that decided to visit us. Andrew was a great host and communicated in real time and was able to answer all our questions. Highly recommend

Pros: Location was great. Close to the marina, bars and grocery store. The covered patio was perfect for our group of 6. We spent a lot of time there, including one day when it was raining. The dock was nice and roomy. Jumping platform and stairs into the water were great. Andrew was great to work with and very responsive. Cons: The bedrooms were a little smaller than expected. The dresser drawers in the master room were difficult to open. The trip up and down to the lake involves a lot of steps. The very last step that leads to the dock felt a little dangerous as it was a further step down to the dock than the rest. Use caution.

Overall very clean. Furniture in living room especially is a bit dated. Kitchen is nice but appliances are low end or mid grade. Bedrooms are small but comfortable. Bathrooms are small and shower and bathroom fixtures are older.Location is great and all decks provide great views. Owner was very responsive to an issue with the hot tub.Would suggest having bath soap available.

Great time!

We stayed 3 nights in late September and enjoyed our three nights. It was quiet and the accommodations were great. We loved the location and would recommend for a getaway or family vacation

Relaxing and Serene

My stay was relaxing and serene—exactly what I was hoping for! Everything listed in the description and amenities was available and just as described. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, making the experience smooth from start to finish. I especially loved the beautiful lake views from the various sitting areas around the property. A peaceful getaway I’d definitely recommend!

Great place on the lake!

Came up to visit friends and this place was perfect. Had everything we needed to cook and relax. It rained and was cold the entire time but the covered deck still allowed us to grill. Definitely would stay here again.

Relaxing Anniversary

This trip was just what we needed. The property was beautiful and serene. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit in peace and quiet.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend on the lake at the house. The fire pit was great for making s’mores in the evening. The house was cozy and beds were comfortable.
