Luxurious Russell - absolute waterfront!

Wake up to a breath-taking view every morning of your holiday with this absolute waterfront property. The peace and tranquility of this place has to be experienced to be believed.

This immaculate beach house has 5 bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens and ample living areas for the grown ups and the kids, making it the ideal place for holidays. This is the perfect house for two families holidaying together or an extended family situation.

If it's seclusion, peace and serenity you are after, you'll find it right here. Although if you need a little more excitement (or perhaps your teenagers do), the town of Russell is only 8 minutes drive away and Paihia also a short drive or ferry ride.

The master bedroom features panoramic views of the bay & includes a generous en-suite with walk-in wardrobe. All other rooms have either sea or bush views.

In this idyllic spot you can swim, kayak, fish off the beach, gather seafood , launch your boat from the front lawn or leave it on your mooring that comes with this property. This wonderful location has it all and is great for all water sports or simply enjoying the ever changing scene as it unfolds before you as you relax on the deck. This is laid back holidaying at its best.
- Kayaks and paddle boards are available for your use
- There is a Weber BBQ and fish filleting table on site
- You are welcome to bring a boat for fishing or pleasure cruising and may use our mooring while you stay.
Guest access
During your stay you will have access to the whole house and section. This includes a beautiful walk through native bush at the rear of the section.

Part of the charm of this place is its’ seclusion – you will never hear any road noise because there is no road! This means that vehicle access is only via the beach but the sand is hard packed so it’s no problem for driving, even for a 2 wheel drive vehicle. However this does mean that the home is not accessible by car for an hour or 2 either side of high tide so if you arrive and the water is lapping the front lawn, make use of the carpark at the end of the road, then it is a simple 2 minute walk along the beach. Make a coffee or pour a wine and by the time you’re done you can wander back and collect your vehicle.

We had a great time staying here with four other couples. The house was perfect for our group—spacious, comfortable, and really well set up so we could all relax without feeling on top of each other.The location was a real highlight. If you did want to leave the beautiful property to explore the local area, it is well-located. Overall, a fantastic spot for a group getaway. We’d definitely come back.

Awesome spot! Right on the water. Great for paddle boarding and swimming. Great layout for families, especially young kids. Heaps of space and you could watch them playing on the lawn/beach from the upstairs seating

Fantastic stay right on the water!! Super friendly host, met us on arrival and was helpful and thoughtful (even when the whole region had a lengthy power outage he messaged us and offered help/supplies if needed). Lovely 2 storey house in quiet area. Extremely clean with everything you need. Bonus was allowing us to have our dog with us. Would love to stay again on future visits to Russell.

Group Family & Friends Holiday

Perfect summer holiday Northland getaway for three families with children. All the kids were downstairs and parents upstairs. Two kitchens was a bonus. Dave was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Had magical last night dinner picnic on the front lawn.

A slice of paradise tucked away in the bay

If you're looking for a quintessential waterfront kiwi bach experience in the sheltered Bay of Islands, this is your place! What's not to love about this spot... the home was a beautiful balance of modern living and classic bach life... everything you need, and nothing you don't. We descended here for a family celebration (12 of us) and it was super comfortable with lots of space for everyone. It's incredibly private, in part thanks to the stunning location, and also the beach access (make sure you check the tides so you don't try and arrive an hour or so either side of high tide) :) We made good use of the kayaks, paddle boards and complimentary beach towels (the water is literally on your doorstep). Lots of fridge space and a great kitchen made home catering easy and Dave (our host) was a real gem. We definitely hope to be back one day!
