We very much enjoyed our stay at the house in Winnipeg.Plenty of room for 2 couples.Good parking on the street right in front of the house, even lots of room for a small teardrop camper trailer.Very helpful to have access to washer & dryer in the basement level, alongside the 2nd full bath. Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors.Enjoyed downtown Winnipeg, especially the Winnipeg Museum & Promenade Brasserie restaurantGood & clear communication with Bernadette.

This house was almost half the price of some of the other houses. It is an older duplex that is renovated inside. The stairs are a bit steep which was fine for our family of 8. It needs some minor things, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. When we arrived and couldn’t adjust the air conditioning ourselves, Bernadette was quick to respond and we were comfortable for the rest of our four day stay.Thank you Bernadette!

Comfortable and homey. Kitchen well equipped for what we needed. Host was helpful when we had questions. Would suggest more signage as how to adjust thermostat. When we arrived we could not find towels but finally found them wet in the dryer, so had to dry them and disperse them to the rooms before being able to use them. It was a good location in the city for us.

Bernadette’s house had everything we needed for our family of 4 for 12 nights. We made a few requests and Bernadette was quick answering and was very accomodating. The neighbourhood is quiet and we were able to park our small SUV on the property off the back lane. There is some mould in the bathroom but it is clean - just dated and needs new caulking around the tub. We would stay here again and would the home recommend others.

It was supplied all essential needs. It was in an excellent neighborhood. The place was clean and welcoming. Felt like home as we were evacuated from our placement in Flin Flon, Manitoba.

Great place for a girls weekend!! Cozy couch with pillows and soft blankets. Cozy beds. Mirrors in most bedrooms if the bathrooms were in use. Great clean, safe, quiet location, approx.10 minutes drive to most places (airport approx 25min drive). No issues.

Great spot!

The house met our needs well. The kitchen table had room for 6. Even though there are lots of homes nearby, we still found the neighbourhood quiet. My sons enjoyed the local outdoor pool that had just opened (short walk from home and free of charge!). Lots of thoughtful provisions in the home.

The property was super cute and perfect for a weekend girls’ trip! I would definitely book again. The only downsides were that the kitchen wasn’t fully stocked — there were no baking sheets or casserole dishes for the oven, and no kitchen towels (I felt bad having to use paper towels for drying hands). Also, we couldn’t find the thermostat, and with it being 28°C outside, the house felt a bit too warm at 23°C with cooking and 6 people.

The house was advertised well. We stay at a VRBO at least once a year. This house is not for a person that can't do stairs. The back area fits a medium size SUV. CON: It needed a good deep cleaning. We had to wipe down the table and counters before using as there was sticky stuff on them. The frig needed to be cleaned. Overall, the house needed to be organized there was a variety of things in all the shelfs and drawers. No dishwasher soap. Needed a baking sheet.PRO: The kitchen had a good number of pots and frying pans. I think it was a good location; it is half hour drive to the Zoo and outlet mall. There is a Walmart and restaurants 10 min away.

Stairs are clearly shown and mentioned in the listing. That allows guests with mobility limitation to be aware before booking with us. For transparency, after your departure, we found the bathrooms left in poor condition with a lot of hair and trash not disposed of and dishwasher machine not fully emptied. The house was overall pretty good. We did have to replace both shower curtains in both bathrooms as they were full of scum and mildew & did not fit the opening of the shower. There are a lot of stairs in this house so if there's mobility issues, I would avoid.The wifi was not great, we had a lot of issues connecting and staying connected. We had a great stay otherwise.

Property not well maintained at all. Bathrooms not clean and need a thorough deep clean and some TLC. Musty smell in the basement area. No extra towels, linens, or blankets. Not very inviting curb appeal as yard not maintained prior to or during stay. Kitchen was well stocked and host was quick to respond when we needed a thermostat change. Overall property needs a deep cleaning.
