Family trip

This is our second time staying at the bungalows! We love it and plan to book again next year. The bungalows are clean, convenient, and feel like home away from home.

The host was responsive. The bungalow was mostly clean. The ac was out our entire stay which is out of the owner’s control. They attempted to fix it after the first night but it didn’t work. They offered to move me to another bungalow after the second night.

Great Bungalow Stay

We travelled as a family of 6 (kid ages 17-10). We enjoyed being close to the Waterpark. The parks food is delicious and it gets delivered to your bungalow if needed. The park and Bungalow were clean, convenient and family friendly. We enjoyed the activities available like corn hole, water volleyball, DJ (on Saturdays) and lake access. We will come and stay again. Thank Kara for all of your hospitality!

Very clean rental

This was a great rental for our weekend girl's getaway! Everything was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Our stay included entrance to a great waterpark directly across the street. Kara was very easy to communicate with. The cabana is located on a somewhat busy corner and there was a fair amount of street traffic noise. Overall, this was a great find!

Overall the stay was good. Beach access is a little difficult. We recommend using Bob Hentz Park, which is about 10 mins from the bungalow. Place is recommended and the host is fantastic.

Great fun for children of all ages

The cottages were as described. Any questions or concerns were immediately answered by the property manager/owner. Quiet and the kids had a blast! A getaway where we could all relax and enjoy. Recommend.

Perfect Escape

Spent two nights in Bungalow #1 and could not have asked for a better escape. Comfortable bed. Clean and most importantly, cool, as it was 100 plus degrees during our stay.

We had a nice time, but I don’t think we will be back.

The restaurant was poorly run. We received a different menu every time we sat down. The lifeguards did not have clear expectations of their duties making it confusing as to what the rules for slides etc were. The actual “bungalow” was clean, but misrepresented by the pictures online.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am disappointed to hear that we did not meet your expectations during your stay and I have expressed your concerns and comments with all relevant staff and management of the restaurant. There was a private event at the waterpark during your visit, and our kitchen resources reached their capacity as we are a small kitchen. The kitchen offered a limited menu for the public during this event so that we could still service all guests. Our lifeguards have all undergone extensive training and are all CPR and Lifeguard Certified. I have shared your concerns with the Supervisor with regards to being more clear to our guests on the proper way to ride the slides. Safety is our number one goal at the waterpark. I'm glad you enjoyed your bungalow. Five of them were just recently remodeled and before professional photos could be taken and uploaded to the public, we listed the current bungalow images and also clearly stated on our VRBO listings that the images were of current bungalows and that layouts and bedding may vary from bungalow to bungalow once the remodel was complete. Thanks again for staying with us at Volente Beach Resort & Waterpark.
