Bill and Carol’s cottage was perfect for our bachelorette trip this past weekend!! It was located conveniently close to all the restaurants, lake, and nightlife which made everything an easy walking distance. They were so accommodating to our party as it rained on one day and they allowed us to stay a little later than our reservation. Bill and Carol were so personable, as Carol showed us around the unit the moment we got there and Bill was nice enough to greet us the final morning. Everyone in my group was so happy and pleased with our stay! Next time we are staying in Lake Geneva, we would definitely keep this place in mind to stay again! Thank you Bill & Carol for everything!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The proximity to all of the shops, food, beach, and conveniences of downtown are just outside your door.Bill and Carol were incredible hosts. We were given a brief tour of the home by Bill upon our arrival, which may or may not be everyone's cup of tea when booking on VRBO, but we were given good information about the area and the property during our walk through.While minor renovations were going on the exterior of the home, the interior was spotless, well equipped, and comfortable. The only item that we may have wanted, had our trip been longer, would have been a washer and dryer for laundry.If we visit Lake Geneva for a similar amount of time in the future, we will definitely look to see if this property is available.

The home exterior and porch were under construction so enjoying the outside space was not an option. When walking in the front porch had exposed insulation and was piled with stuff. It is not listed that this is the bottom floor of a historic home shared with the host who lives above, this information would have influenced our booking. Additionally part of the dishwasher was out of order requiring that you hand wash any dishes that didn’t fit when checking out, not ideal for vacation. The host was kind and accommodating but shouldn’t charged full price with the construction and broken appliances.

We stayed here for a golf trip and it was great being right downtown after golfing to grab dinner and drinks just steps out the front door!

Hi Mary, Thank you for the wonderful review. I did find a red beach towel and some freezer packs in the freezer. Please ask your friends if they want them back, if so I will hang on to them until someone comes up to Lake Geneva. If not I will dispose of them. Also I hope you were not offended by Bills message of "smokin hot". He felt bad after he sent it as I said it could be offensive. We both really appreciated your group, including the boys as friendly, fun and a great group of young people. Thank you for leaving the unit in such great condition. Great stay!

We stayed at Carol & Bill's place for a girl's weekend, and the house was perfect! The location is great, and the house was very clean. Bill & Carol were incredibly welcoming and great hosts - I would highly recommend!

Great stay for family!

Great stay for family with small kids. Multiple rooms on one level which was great for our walking 14 month old. Great set up in kitchen, all things needed to cook at home along with walking distance to many restaurants, the public beach and downtown lake geneva. Would stay again!

Bill and Carol love living in Lake Geneva. Bill is a contractor and loves to create homes and commercial buildings for people to live or work in. He is gifted with an eye for design and then can create it for his customers. He remodeled our Nautical Cottage in 2020 and it is unique with open space and high end finishes. He has left some of the old trim and ceiling details of the past and created high ceilings and open floor plan in the kitchen and sitting area. The bathroom has a large beautiful shower with multiple sprayers that the customers love.
We love meeting new guests and making sure they have everything they need to have a memorable stay in Lake Geneva.
