This house is wonderful! We like to travel and have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this is one of the very best, and by far the best that allows pets. The house is very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We didn’t have any issues while we were there, but I think Jen would have been responsive if we needed her. This is now our go to rental in Durham.

Wonderful experience in a darling home in old town, Durham. It worked out well for an event at Duke University and the host could not have been more kind and accommodating. Loved it!

Beautifully decorated, in pristine condition, and well stocked with everything you’d need. Very close to the freeway too. Easy 10 min drive to either Duke East Campus or West Campus, and even closer to downtown Durham. A wonderful property!

The home was perfect for my wife, 2 small kids, and dogs who joined me for a 3-month training program at Duke. The home was super clean, the yard was perfect for our dogs, and the interior is well-appointed and quite comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and the beds were super comfy! And our host, Jen, was terrific. She was very responsive to any questions we had. Overall, it was a fabulous stay and would highly recommend this home!

Home away from home

Stayed here for several days while daughter had procedure at Duke hospital and then came to recover. She felt so comfortable here just as if she were at home. Everything was as advertised and would certainly stay here when in the area.

The house was comfortable, well-appointed and convenient. We especially enjoyed the main living area (with gas fireplace) and porches (front and back). The house is clean, updated and fully stocked. We stayed over a long weekend while visiting our son at Duke. We will look forward to our next stay.

It was a great house. We were doing college tours so very convenient to the highway and where we needed to go. The only drawback was there’s some construction next-door and they started around 7 AM but we were early risers so it didn’t bother us much.

From the Owner: "Thank you for your review-we do strive to make our home welcoming and comfortable for all guests. (Dogs included, especially when we know about them) We are sorry for the construction. In our old(er) neighborhood, that has never been a problem and apologize for the inconvenience, despite it being out of our control. We hope you reach out again if there is a local college choice in your family’s future."

Amazing house close to Duke!

We had a great experience. The house was beautiful, with every detail taken care of. We had everything we needed and can’t thing of anything we would have changed. My daughter was going to a camp at Duke East campus and the house was a straight 8 minute or so shot to where we needed to be. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent home

House was beautiful! Looks exactly like pictures. Everything was very clean and comfortable! Owner thought of everything from fully stocked kitchen complete with spices to laundry room with detergent, dryer sheets and stain remover. Extra blankets and pillows in the hall closet were nice. The one and only thing I would suggest is a door to the tub & toilet area in the jack and Jill bath. That would make it more accessible for both rooms. Other than that the house was perfect!! Owner was really nice and easy to work with! Would absolutely rent again!
