Beautiful property located very close to a lot of great hiking trails! The lake was clear and refreshing, we had a blast!

This property was perfect for my family during a special weekend together and we will definitely be back! The location, space and setup was ideal for a family gathering. We are so happy we found it!

Wonderful house. A quiet retreat that felt glamorous and comfortable. Plenty of space for 10. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, the ping pong table, and the firepit. The rooms were spacious and modern. We were sad to leave. The "kids room" and one other bedroom is upstairs, the other two bedrooms with the private bathrooms attached are on the main level. Theres so many places to sit around the house, everything is designed with intention and usefulness.

The Stillwater will NOT disappoint :-)

The home was lovely for our four couple, annual 'Big Chill' fall getaway. Convenient to many wonderful hiking trails, Beaver Pond Trail and Hidden Valley Preserve/Bee Brook Loop, were both exceptional outdoor adventures on two gorgeous fall days. Terrain was easy to moderate and the landscape was beautiful. The green in Litchfield was a nice short stroll of shops and a tasty coffee shop, Espresso 59, warmed us all up! The house was also close to many great restaurants. We ate at White Horse and Market Place Tavern (an old prison renovated into a local eatery pre-COVID). Of the two, the latter was our favorite, although both were yummy! And we stumbled on the Hopkins Vineyard for a Holiday Market day packed with folks out enjoying a Saturday. The house itself had everything we needed. It was very clean, private and the view of the pond each day was peaceful. The only down-side was that we couldn't build a fire in the fireplace for that extra cozy feel. All in all, a fantastic time!!

We had a very nice visit. The property accommodated us well. The setting was perfect. The house was was well equippedThere were some housekeeping issues such as the condition of the windows in the sunroom room which need replacing since they are foggy.Also, it is important to tell potential renters that there is no cell phone service given the remote location .
