This very private 3 bedroom, 1 bath, getaway is off the beaten path nestled on 28 quite wooded acres that abut the Green Mountain State Forest This newly updated home is very open, bright & airy with all new appliances. Close to Sadawga Lake and the Harriman Reservoir for boating, swimming, fishing or just relaxing by the shore. The VAST snowmobile trails are around the corner and snow shoeing & hiking can be done right on the property. Mount Snow is a quick 25 minute ride. Berkshire East Mountain Resort is about 30 minutes away and offers 4 season fun as well. There are also loads of hiking areas in the vicinity. Relax on the deck or set up yard games by the firepit.

4th time staying at the A frame. The house is super clean, modern and cozy. We loved the back yard with the fire pit. The property is very quiet and peaceful but close to town and minutes from great places to kayak

We loved our stay! Very private, clean, updated, and in a beautiful area of southern Vermont. The outdoor fire pit was a bonus! Hiking trails on the property were nice, too.We're always pleased to find a rental that accepts our 2 big dogs, and this one worked perfectly. Will definitely stay here again.

Such an adorable A-frame, super well appointed, had such a good welcome book and every thing that you need. From additional paper goods, to laundry stuff, every utensil and pot you could need, the fire pit was great and I appreciated the advice on the lack of GPS and phone service in the last miles approaching the home.

Amazing private cozy gem in the woods of Southern VT. Spotless and well-provisioned with everything you could need. Check-in and communication with the host were thoughtful and well communicated. There were no funny rules or asks, just simple and respectful. They even provided a nice self-checkout list that was written to help the guest not forget things. Close enough to Wilmington for supplies and restaurants, but far enough away to disconnect and use as a base of operations to explore the whole state. We spent 5 nights there, and it was hard to leave. Can't go wrong renting the "Place to Be"

The house was very clean and comfortable. The snow removal was excellent. The host was very accommodating. I would consider coming back in the summer, it must be just as beautiful at that time of year!

Relaxing getaway

Property was beautiful, private, and clean! This was the perfect spot for our family to get away for a few days! The house had everything we needed and the owner was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Getaway

Had an absolutely wonderful time at The Place to Be! An absoultely lovely home kept immaculately clean for guests. Check-in/check-out was super easy, great communication all-around from Diane. Would stay again, for sure!

Definitely a place to be

Very cute and quiet location! Cabin has everything ine would need! Plenty of parking, and there are trails throughout the property. Its in the perfect spot, only 18 minutes from town.

The Place to Be was exactly as pictured. An adorable A-frame house, off the beaten path. Diane sent helpful information about the check-in procedure and was quick to respond to any questions. Diane’s place had everything one could need for a comfortable, relaxing get away. We would definitely stay there again!
