Built in 2001 this three bedroom - 2 bath post and beam home sits directly next to beautiful haystack Golf Course in Wilmington, Vermont.

This house is in a small private community ten minutes from Mt. Snow, 30 minutes to Stratton and only two miles from downtown Wilmington for shops and restaurants. 5 minutes from Hermitage Resort and Haystack mountain.

Harriman Reservoir is nearby for boating and fishing.

There are many hiking and snowmobiling trails in the area.

You will enjoy the large deck with access to and views of the golf course.
The exposed beams combined with lots of natural light, comfortable furniture and a new 36" flat screen TV make this home truly unique and very relaxing.

Perfect Vermont Getaway

This is our 5th winter stay and we also stayed in the fall. Very cozy and comfortable! Perfect location on the golf course which is groomed for cross country skiing right out the back door ! Hot tub is new and works great! Close to restaurants and shops in Wilmington and also Mount Snow! Host is easy to communicate with and responsive to questions or concerns if any. Looking forward to next time. I highly recommend!

Ski Getaway for family of Four

This was our first time in Vermont, and we loved it. Our girls, 10 and 8 years old, loved the spiral staircase, having the whole upstairs to themselves, and the hot tub. We chose this place because of its proximity to Mount Snow, which is only about 15 minutes away. The property manager is fantastic and responsive to any questions or concerns. We highly recommend this place.

Hallmark House

This house was welcoming, warm, and cozy! Everything you could think of on hand and the house was immaculately clean. The view was beautiful. The best part was the fireplace! We would highly recommend staying in the house and we are planning our next trip.

Perfect weekend getaway

My wife and I booked a weekend getaway to celebrate our 4th anniversary. We had an amazing experience! The property is just as described, with all the amenities you could want and need (even extras that we didn't think of, like aluminum foil and condiments). We especially appreciated the dryer so that we could dry our swimsuits after being in the hot tub. It felt very private and relaxing. We are so pleased with our stay and plan to return in the future. Thank you Alastair for your hospitality!

My 70th birthday getaway

We had a fabulous time. The house was perfect for us and my sister and her husband & dogs. The TV and internet were perfect! The golf course was right out the door. Can’t wait to return!

Wedding Weekend

Came to Wilmington for a family wedding and this was the perfect place for our family to stay. The house was just as described and we enjoyed having fires in the fireplace and one night using the Hot Tub. We had nice views across the golf course. The kitchen had new appliances and the house was immaculately clean. Would highly recommend this home to anyone coming to the area.

Beautiful weekend

The property was just as described. It is located on a dirt road with houses close by. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the owner left a number of things to have on hand. I only needed coffee filters. New appliances. Cute decor. Communication was great.

Spectacular house!

Spectacular little spot! Beautifully well stocked kitchen and comfy beds and couches. Very clean and nearby downtown. Great walking if you like hills. Views of golf course. Very happy with this stay

Perfect getaway

Hot tub getaway

The place was nice, the hot tub was perfect, just what we needed for a couple days. Had fun watching the golfers from the patio. Thinking of going back in the fall.

Outstanding host and beautiful property

We had a fantastic experience at this property. It's a lovely, cozy home, very comfortable for up to six peoplke, nestled next to a golf course. Lucky for us, the course was covered with a foot of snow. This made for a large space to walk, hike and play in, great for the kids and dog. Host Smith truly made us feel welcome in his home, paying great attention to various details, such as dried and split firewood with firestarters for tenant use. The hot tub was pristine and new as were the appliances. The drive to Mount Snow was easy, the town of Wilmington is also close by, quaint and cute. We plan to return to this property next winter. 4x4s or AWD recommended for the unpaved class 4 roads leading up to cabin.

Perfect!

The house was perfect for our family. Each of our teen boys had their own room upstairs with a bathroom. My husband and I had our room and bathroom downstairs. We loved having our own thermostat and gas stove in our bedroom, it was great to keep it cool at night and warm up while getting ready. Our 9 year old Vizsla loved the house and yard too! We used the fireplace and hot tub every day. It was so cozy. Location was ideal, 10-15 minute drive to Mt. Snow for amazing snowboarding. Close to the cute town of Wilmington with some great restaurants. And lots of nearby trails for hiking. It really felt like a home away from home.

Perfect vacation home!

Looked for a place close to Mt Snow that takes pets. This place was the perfect find. Super convenient and clean. Plenty of room. Furniture was modern and comfortable. Close to town for some great dinners and a short drive to the mountain in the morning! All the amenities you need are provided. Hot tub was a huge bonus!

Enjoy Vermont!

This is our 4th time enjoying this comfortable, clean and cozy spot! Located on Haystack golf course provides a beautiful view out the slider and windows. Snowshoe or xcountry ski out the back door. Brand new hot tub is the best! Convenient to Wilmington shops and restaurants as well as Mount Snow. I highly recommend ! Check it out ! We’ll be back for sure!

Mt. Snow

Perfect place for our ski trip. Close to Mt. Snow and close enough to okemo. Great layout, privacy, hot tub, and area. Would definitely stay again
