This is the cutest place! We loved our stay! Tom made sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable during our stay! We loved the easy access to the beach, the short walk to the boardwalk, and the convenient store on the corner! We would recommend this place to anyone!

Clean and comfy! Great for our family trip! Bathroom renovations were beautiful! Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views and easy walk to the beach. Walkway is wide enough for a jumbo beach cart for the glamping beach goers like us;) There is one step at end of walkway onto the beach, but a little push and wagon went up easily.Finally Tom was very responsive to any questions we had about the house. I appreciate that!

Great location right on the beach. We really enjoyed the upstairs and main level decks.The kitchen had everything we needed and the mini mart kitty corner across the street had a great beer selection and good sandwiches.Would stay there again!

Great property overlooking the ocean! Easy walk to beach. Great for a family getaway. Convenient to restaurants and nearby Wilmington. Owner recommended the mini market caddy corner across the street and we found it a great place to pick up snacks and a hot breakfast.

Loved!

Great place - close to everything but able to get away from the crowds! Perfect size for a small group. Would definitely stay here again.

Family quick getaway

Check-in was easy. Quick get away for grandaughter to enjoy beach. Condo very spacious and clean. Loved the oceanfront view. Host very easy to contact. Thanks for letting us stay. We hope we can visit again.

Paradise!

Property was pristine and we loved the remodeled bathroom downstairs. Incredible location right on a part of the beach that isn't very busy and also a market across the way on the corner. We really loved the deck off the master bedroom as well - great place to end the day! This was a quick visit but we are definitely planning to come back for a longer stay!

Wonderful Beach Getaway!

We enjoyed this townhouse from the minute we saw it and walked in the door. Each room is tastefully decorated with comfortable seating in the den area with a large screen tv. Delightful views of the beach and ocean plus quick and easy access being beach front. Loved that it is located near all the activities around Carolina Beach. Our family time here was simply wonderful! We even stayed an extra night!! We all highly recommend this vacation beach getaway!!

Location. Location. Location

Great 3br, 3 bath town house on the beach. Stand on the back decks and look at the waves. Walk out the back door, walk 20 steps to the beach ramp and your on the beach. There are plenty of good restaurants within 1 mile or less. Communication was great.

Second year in a row we stayed here. Condo is clean and pics are accurate. Owners are very nice and responsive. Some of the pros: great beach access, close to the boardwalk, good parking, AC works fantastic, good beds, didn’t hear the neighbors either stay, all appliances in the house works well. I don’t have real cons but there are a few quarks: the kitchen light switch can be turned off when the fridge door is fully opened. Can be annoying but not a big deal. The lights in the main living area are concentrated in the kitchen and one side of the living room. None over the table area. It’s only noticeable at night because there’s so much light coming in from the glass door. You can still see well enough to have a meal, it’s just unconventional lighting. That’s all I can I think of. It’s a good place and if the layout suits your needs I recommend it.

Overall stay was good

House location and ocean view view was awesome. Mostly stores were accessible within 5 mins. Inside the rooms so many places we found dead cockroaches and bugs, bit scared because We went with 2 infants as they started crawling. Back side of the room’s attached bathroom was having very slow running water, couldn’t utilize. Hope owner/manager would resolve these issues. Thanks

Restful

Updated bathroom for each of the three bedrooms was amazing! The primary bathroom towels were very worn.The balcony off the primary bedroom was a great place to read and get a full view of the beach and surfers. The deck off the main living has a view of the ocean, but you can't see the beach. It's very lovely, and we ate dinner outside each clear night - including a low country boil! Plenty of stock pots in the kitchen to prepare the meal.The living area only has comfortable seating for 4 people. The dining table inside is gigantic and takes up a lot of room. A sectional and easy chair could offer lounging for 7-8 people and a smaller dining table would make more efficient use of the space.

We loved it!

First thing, the location was perfection. We barely traveled more than 4 miles for anything we did or needed. The beach, food, surf rentals, bike rentals, and more.. The condo was very nice overall, it was clean and updated. The upstairs master shower did look a bit iffy, but other than that it looked great. The downstairs bedroom had poor lighting for us, two lamps wasn't quite enough, there were no Tupperware containers for leftovers, the living TV must have had poor reception because we couldn't get through a movie without it losing multiple times..little things like that. The outdoor furniture downstairs was not appealing, but was great on the other levels. The fact that there was covered parking was huge.. my car was cool every time I got in and on those 100°+ days that was amazing. Overall, this place was great. We would definitely stay again. Messaged out to the owners and they got back to me ASAP.

Decidedly Mediocre

Location certainly seemed promising and it was great - right on the beach as promised. The property itself and the host were mediocre at best. If you and a group of friends want a crash pad to party at the beach, this is your place. If you are used to what I would consider normal amenities for a property at this price point at this time of the year, you will likely end up disappointed. Here are a few items I noted in our stay that led me to my rating and feedback: - first floor tub not cleaned and had substantial amount of sand left in it - no dish towels, sponges or dish soap in kitchen - no travel size shampoo, conditioner or body wash in the bathrooms - television did not work correctly in living room - could only tune to MTV but was able to watch Prime - kind of a big deal with Thanksgiving weekend football and the World Cup in full swing - overall cleanliness wasn't good in my view - received painful bug bite on my neck after sleeping in upstairs master bedroom bed - still not clear what it is Overall, great location, very meh experience.

Escape from reality

I have lived on the beach in FL so know how hard it is to keep up a beach house. It iis obvious that a lot of attention has gone into keeping the inside and outside in pristine condition. Appreciated the quality and comfort of the furniture (especially the star gazing chairs on the top porch) and the new appliances in kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you might need. If Carolina Beach is your destination do not hesitate to rent this property.

Surprise getaway

Just as advertised. Right on the beach and a short jaunt down the private boardwalk to the ocean. The views were awesome..we slept with the patio door open to better hear the waves crashing against the shore. Incredible!!

Cockroaches and poor plumbing

The property is at a great location along the beach. However, when we arrived, the place was not clean. There was dirt on the carpet, dead bugs -including cockroaches throughout the place. There were dead cockroaches in the shower, and we were unable to use it. We ended up cleaning/sweeping/mopping the place ourselves due to it being sandy. The downstairs bathroom toilet was leaking. The plumbing is quite old. There was not enough bedding and mattresses are old. The owner replied but did not do anything to help resolve the above issues. We were unhappy with the condition of the place and believe it needs to be treated before renting it out again. This is just unacceptable.
