We absolutely loved our stay here. You cannot find a more special, well-designed, gem of a property anywhere else in Lone Pine. The views were magnificent, the house is unique and thoughtful, and the outdoor tub and rocks right outside the door made for hours of entertainment with our kids.

Property was even better than photos online! Woke up to beautiful sunrises and had such a memorable weekend. Place was clean and we enjoyed the outdoor tub and patio space. Communication with host was easy and he was always quick to respond to our questions.

Everything was amazing! We went hiking and mountain bike riding. Made delicious dinners in a beautiful well stocked kitchen. The beds were super comfy. Spent mornings and evenings relaxing on the couch or the deck enjoying the spectacular view. Our dogs had a great time as well. We will be back! Thank you Joost!

Peaceful Oasis

We enjoyed every aspect of our all-too-brief stay: the stunning scenery, the dramatic surroundings, the extremely tasteful and cool decor and the cleanliness and comfort of the amenities. Joost and his dog Smoky were very welcoming and made sure we were settled in and comfortable. I highly recommend this unique and serene place.

Three Days in Lone Pine

This property made for a memorable stay in Lone Pine. Stunning views from the front deck and all the amenities you'd ever need. This is a perfect location for access to Mt. Whitney Portal and for a drive to Death Valley. The host was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Overall a unique and comfortable place to experience Lone Pine.

Our family Thanksgiving vacation turned out fantastic thanks to the beautiful East Wind Property. The host Joost was amazing, friendly and welcoming. We loved sitting out on the front patio watching the sunrise, the sunset and the stars as well moon at night. The place itself was well decorated and very relaxing. Sitting by the fire with the large folding glass windows looking out at the Eastern Sierra was ideal and one of the key features we loved. Also listening to the farm live that surrounds the property was also a highlight. Far enough out of town to relax and access to a plethora of trails. We would stay here again and highly recommend the place.

Exactly as pictured a designer’s dream. Joost was super responsive and check in was flawless. The beds were super comfortable and the air conditioning was powerful (or stay was during summer). The location was ideal and provided for a perfect opportunity to experience the Alabama Hills numerous times a day under different light conditions as it was only 5 minutes away.

Incredible home, incredible view, incredible host: loved everything about it.

Joost was a fantastic and accommodating host—very responsive and helpful over VRBO messaging. Moreover, this place is exactly as it looks on the listing, which is to say MAGNIFICENT. The mountain views, the starlight, the sunrises and sunsets... it's unbelievable. And the interior design taste is impeccable. Highly recommend!

Very nice!

Fun , creative living space. Very comfortable furnishings, sheets, towels etc. Amazing views!!. Easy to town. Very quiet. Suggestion... Would be nice if knives were sharpened (super, super dull!) and maybe put the welcome instructions & Wifi info on a table top so a little more obvious when entering the house. Took us a while to find on the side of fridge not facing out. Would certainly come again.
