There is no air-conditioning as stated in the listing, It is a swamp cooler fan. Back of the house somewhat cool but the front is the same temperature inside as out. When I was there virtually 90 plus each day and inside very hot. The owner has cut the cord from cable companies with smart tv which will only work if the WIFI works which it only did sporadically. You cannot cast or stream if the Tv won't work as the WIFI is non-existent. Apparently Ruth the cleaner has a day job and it shows. The place was well below standards of clean. I had to scrub the floor to keep my feet and socks from turning black.

Nice spot to stay in town and within walking distance of everything you'd need.I spent two nights here leading up to a one day full Mt Whitney hike. During the day, we were out exploring Death Valley and other local attractions.The property was clean and had all amenities you'd need. Parking is on a not-busy street right in front of the house.Not the fault of the owner but on one night the neighbors next door were up past my 9 pm bedtime in their yard next to the window where I was sleeping. Not doing anything crazy but the noise prevented me from falling asleep so I grabbed some ear plugs and made the most of it. No blame to be had on anyone but something to potentially be aware of if you go to bed early.The toilet probably needs to be looked at as it seems to be very low flow and has trouble handling a flush job on the first or even second flush. Overall, quite pleased with our stay here.

We loved the location. As advertised, we were able to walk everywhere in town. Parking was great, right in front of the unit. Other than a few slight bumps with the oven and washer, the stay was quite nice. The owner was kind enough to install a new washer while we were there! We made due with the BBQ and stovetop for cooking. Great little place for a family of 4. The pics show 2 futons in the living room, but there was only one when we arrived. We made it work! Thanks for a great stay and for helping make memories for my family and I.

This comfortable and clean bungalow was perfect for our stay to explore and hike in the Lone Pine area. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for making meals. The location is excellent for walking to restaurants, shops and the local grocery store. It was on a quiet street with parking available just outside the door. Highly recommend!

This property is exactly as advertised. It’s not fancy, but it’s very clean and the bed is comfortable. It was a great location for us as a pit stop between hiking days in national parks. The house it just a block or so from a well stocked grocery and a few restaurants and shops. You can find anything you need to restock or find what you’ve forgotten.

We had a very nice stay. The building is old but clean and has a very well equipped kitchen. It's location is good, just a block off the main street in town. We appreciated the privacy and quiet, and the parking was great. It was a nice place to come back to after a day of hiking.

No cable TV. Had to call him no propane for BBQ. BBQ was a mess. You could barley see out windows. Window screens ripped and hadn't been cleaned for a very long time. Don't waste your money got a hotel

Nice place

Nice place to stay. Close to Alabama Hills, and not too far from Death Valley. Food and shopping all within walking distance.

Stayed here as base camp for hiking mt Whitney. Place was perfect for what we needed. Would come back.

Clean and cozy

Quaint little spot right in the heart of town. Very comfortable, strong A/C and easy access to everything. We had a great stay. Would definitely come back.
