Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The Sea Esta

We very much enjoyed our family stay! The view was pleasing, vicinity to the beach was great! Definitely bring bug spray if you want to be outside. The beach house was fabulously decorated, everything necessary available and the booking services were awesome! Highly recommend both! We loved our vacation! A big thank you to Vacasa and The Sea Esta!

Cute House

Really cute house kinda away from all the craziness. Loved the hardwood floors and the 2nd deck under the house. The house was pretty well stocked with cookware and things you need in the kitchen. Our only complaint was they didn’t restock the wash cloths, we had plenty of towels though. Ither than that it was a great weekend!!

Great Stay!

This house was great! Very clean and perfect room layout. Awesome location. The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 star is the kitchen is not equiped to cook for 10 guest.

Sprung break

Came here to get away. Weather wasn't the best, so glad this house was comfy. Found a nice little bar about a mile down the road open on weekends. Totally relaxing trip. I would definitely stay here again!

Review

The house was a 5, but the management company was a 1or 2. They weren’t very friendly when we called with issues. The mosquitoes are terrible, so if you stay make sure you bring repellent because you will need it. They only provide the bare minimum & it wasn’t enough for the stay. We had to buy a lot of items that most places provide. •not enough cooking dishes or utensils •not enough cups or spoons •the place didn’t look like it was cleaned very well •the floors were nasty •the fridge had someone else’s leftovers in it •under the beds & dressers were nasty •not enough beach towels •different contact info & wifi passwords provided, most were incorrect & needed updated •Wi-Fi didn’t work •called the mgmt company twice with no answer

Quick weekend trip

Overall we had a good time here but I’m not sure that I would rent at this particular house again . Pros: -Proximity to the beach. Super close to the beach and it was literally 1 min in the Jeep or a less then 5 min walk ( there is a path almost directly across the street ). The beach was pretty empty on Sunday and Monday. -The house was very spacious for three adults and two kids, but we would still have been comfortable with more people. Cons: -Traffic noise. The house is right next to a major road and the traffic is loud. It’s ok in the house and you can only really hear the noise in the front bedroom , but if you plan on sitting outside, the traffic noise really ruins it. -The house needs some TLC, a lot of broken furniture on the patio . One shower didn’t work, lots of random little things that need to be touched up or fixed. -Cleanliness was weird. A lot of personal items from past guest in random areas. Stained cushions. Used Soap and toiletries left in the bathroom from previously people. TV had oily hand / arms prints it. The top deck had sticky residue on it . Beds were clean. Countertops and surfaces were wiped down but not dried. It was like the cleaning was very rushed. To be fair , they did reach out right after check in and asked if we would like another cleaning service to come and we declined. We were only there 2 days and it wasn’t worth it. -WiFi did not work. I sent out two emails through the app and never got a response. I texted the number that wrote me about the cleanliness and they did respond. I was told they were contacting the “local staff” regarding the wifi issue but I again, Never heard back and they sent no one to fix it ( I didn’t need WiFi, the issue was that wifi is one of the listed amenities and it wasn’t working).

Wonderful and relaxing

Great place and well kept. We took food for the week to save some money. Pots and pans need to be updated. The internet was spotty at best, but the entire island had outages. Overall a wonderful place to stay and we look forward to going back and staying again.

Galveston trip

Definitely not cleaned well, I had to sweep the rugs and wipe the cabinets. They must have forgotten to vacuum. Food crumbs and sand on the rugs and sticky floors/cabinets. We finally got some patchy WiFi toward at the end of our last day. It was a struggle for my brother- in-law who had to do work off his phone and the signal was not so good. It’s a nice big spacious place to accommodate 10.

Great house. Great Location.

Comfortably fit two families into this great house right across the street from a fantastic, quiet beach. Just fifteen minutes to shops and restaurants—but make reservations! The shelling and beachcombing is excellent. Galveston is a day trip away. Three full bathrooms! Outdoor shower! Easy beach access. Great parking. Surrounded by nature. Stay here. You’ll be very comfortable.

Great home for a large family!

This home was large enough to accommodate 2 families of 5. The beds were very comfortable. Easy access to the beach. I especially loved that it was clean!

Very nice , although the place needs a good dusting . One bedroom had sheets that were covered in black specks of something . We washed them ourselves . One bedroom needs a battery in the smoke detector !! The lazy susan in the kitchen had food crumbs on it .

Stay-cation

Very nice house with great view of the beach. Plenty of outdoor spaces to congregate and lounge around after a great day on the sand. Kids had a great time and so did us adults. Plenty of beds to sleep in. Great house, will rent again.

Nice for a family

We had a nice time at this home and enjoyed the holiday weekend. It is roomy and extremely clean. Well stocked for all our needs! Only issue we had was it’s not the most toddler friendly (glass tables, 3 flights of stairs with no gates etc, and a busier 2 lane road I front). Other than the toddler issue we were able to cross the road easily and safely. Beach was nice and clean, lots of shells. Enjoyed the sunset/rise and comfortable beds.

Girls' Trip

So relaxing! The location is perfect and we hope to book it again next year. The colors chosen for the home are peaceful and beckons a person to unwind. We spent several hours on the deck enjoying the breeze when the beach got too hot. *You'll need to bring your own washcloths because they aren't provided but we found everything else we needed.

Wonderful!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay here. The house was very clean and so spacious. Our family of 4 adults enjoyed having our own spaces and bathrooms. We didn’t lack for anything except wash rags and grill, but these were very minor issues. The location was great, away from the business of Crystal Beach. I’d book this house again in an instant!!

Very Beautiful and Clean Home

Very wonderful home . If you plan on cooking do bring a fry pan and maybe a casserole dish if needed cooking supplies are limited. We bought a little Weber grill at the Big Store the one they have needs a BIG cleaning. Everything else was wonderful!

Family Vacation

This place is amazing as well as the deck underneath the living area. This deck made the stay worth it! The only downside it they claim to have a fully stocked kitchen but did not have pans, mixer, and also only had 2 dinner knives. I would stay here again but would plan better and bring more down to cook with.

Nice house but no grill

The house was really clean and cozy. I felt like I stay in my own home. I was disappointed when there was no grill. I was told that there would be a charcoal grill. I asked if I could bring my own portable gas grill but property management denied. I brought charcoal and found no grill. This house will be my last option when I return to the area in my next vacation.

Great Getaway

The place was a perfect fit for our little family of 3. The kid loved her space. The location was great for access to the beach. The space was decorated nicely and had everything we needed.
