Take in lovely views of the surrounding grounds and mountains from this condo at The Aspens, a wonderfully appointed retreat for a family or a group of friends in search of ski-in/out access to the slopes. With the ski runs of Blackcomb Mountain mere steps away, you can prepare leisurely breakfasts in the full kitchen, warm your socks by the gas fireplace, and still be among the first on the slopes each morning. Enjoy a private balcony on sunny summer days, as well as on-site amenities that include three hot tubs, a heated outdoor pool, ski and bike storage, and a fitness room.

Ideally located in the quiet Benchlands of Whistler, The Aspens enjoys an enviable ski-in/out location next to Merlin's Run on the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain. One of the free local buses, #5, even picks up on the opposite side of Spearhead Drive to take you down to Whistler Village (half a mile west), which is known for its charming, pedestrian-only streets and hundreds of upscale shops, restaurants, and apres-ski spots. Come summer, you'll have your choice of the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club (less than half a mile north) and Whistler Golf Club (one mile west), or you can spend your days hiking Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains and tearing down the slopes at Whistler Mountain Bike Park.

Things to Know
The two shared laundry facilities are coin-operated.
Over the Victoria Day long weekend (the weekend before the second-to-last Monday in May), all Vacasa properties in Whistler enforce a minimum booking age of 25.
This property is managed by ResortQuest Whistler Property Management, Inc., an affiliate of Vacasa.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Not worth the money

The unit is a good size and beds were comfortable, but the place is very outdated and shabby and is need of major updates. Many issues with plumbing and broken fixtures.

Great for a friend trip

The location of the property was great and tons of room. Only flaw was not realizing there were two building and we weren’t in the right one initially.

Helpful staff during check-in and check-out. Comfortable beds and sofa bed for 5 people. Spacious for dining and kitchen equipment reasonable. Room at 5th floor, NO LIFT access, thus have to climb stairs after taking lift to 4th floor. My mother who's 73 years old had problem climbing each time we exit and return. Room cleaning done in hurried manner, as we were waiting at the door until 4.25 pm to check-in, previous used towels not removed.

Best ski-in/ski-out on Blackcomb

This is the fourth time I've stayed at the Aspens Condos on Blackcomb. In my opinion it's the best location. It's dated but clean. The ski valet is great. Very walkable to Whistler Village, about 13 minutes. I would definitely go back to the Aspens

Had a great time. Everything we needed and a true ski on ski off experience. Hot tubs were great and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again

perfect for Whistler skiing

Basic apartment with great access to the Blackcomb slopes. Ski valet, proximity to Blackcomb gondola were big plusses. Some stains on carpet, blunt cooking knives but otherwise my family of 5 had a great time and would stay there again. Wish it had in-condo washer/dryer but we managed fine.

Good place in a pinch.

Good space, great location and clean. Amenities very, very basic. Good use an update. Stove broken, fan in bathroom would not turn off, carpeting very stained.

Aspens is great, this unit is only satisfactory.

Unit is need of updating. Carpet is well worn and has a big red stain. Kitchen is sparsely equipped, the only fry pan is beat to heck. Stove clock and timers don't work. I've stayed at numerous units in the Aspens and this one is as barebones as they get.

Met our needs but a bit run-down

The suite had most of the amenities we were looking for and was quite spacious. It's location next to the Whistler upper village was very convenient and the pool and hot tubs were a hit. However there were many minor repairs that needed to be done (broken cupboard door, hot/cold taps reversed, no cold water in kitchen sink, etc.). The listing states there is no A/C which was a real issue especially in July, even though several fans were available it still got quite warm in the unit. Also wasn't thrilled to find out we had to go back up and take out all the garbages/recycling at checkout. Overall it was an okay place to stay but could use a bit of TLC to make it better.

Disappointing

There was one thing that ruined this stay for us which was the dirty condition of the condo when we arrived. While the beds were clean, the bathroom faucets had not been cleaned, there were hairs on one of the bathroom countertops, a candy wrapper left on the floor, a used bathroom towel left in the bathroom, visible footprints all over the coffee table, and a bed pillow tossed on the floor of the hallway closet on top of its plastic pillow protector. While I called Vacasa, the Property Management Company, to complain, they told me they would contact the local cleaners to report and contact me, but the local cleaners never did, nor did Vacasa properly follow up. I ended up cleaning the condo myself which makes no sense since I had to pay a cleaning fee. Nothing wrong with the condo itself - it was roomy, a bit outdated but the beds were comfy, and in a good location. However, this ruined the experience.

Perfect for family of 5 ski vacation

Just excellent in terms of location and pool hot tub situation, room size. Saved a good bit of money with a trip to grocery store since we had a kitchen. We will be back. 5 stars. Only minor concern was no pre arrival communication about check in, but since there is a receptionist it didn’t matter at all.

Tired facility but great location.

The property is old. The doors on the shower were coming off. Walls are thin so sound travels easily. Very few pots and pans in the kitchen. Closet door didn’t close. Location is great parking is expensive.

Great Ski location

Perfect location for Whistler Blackcomb skiing. Yes, it is Covid times, so things aren't running 100% but all staff was kind and quick to respond to any questions or issues. Only downside was no washer/dryer in room, and parking garage could not accommodate rooftop cargo box.
