During your stay in Mentone, AL you have close access to Little River Falls, Desoto Falls, and Desoto State Park for all hiking, swimming, and outdoor fun. Downtown Mentone offers unique shops that have antiques and DIY crafts. During the winter months, Cloudmont Golf and Ski Resort offers snow skiing. Cloudland Canyon State Park in Trenton, GA offers views, outdoor leisure activities, and much more. If you are looking for air time, Lookout Mtn Flight Park, located in Rising Fawn, GA offers hang gliding.Come enjoy this secluded and spacious cabin. 3 bedroom, 3 full baths with an upstairs loft with 6 twin beds and a full-size sleeper sofa to accommodate 14 along with an entertainment area for board games WiFi available, Roku TV. On the back deck is a 6 person hot tub and when finished there you can sit back and relax in the outdoor sitting area with a fire pit. Just min from The Brow where you can experience beautiful sunsets

The place is beautiful and clean . Very peaceful the wife and I enjoyed our stay the Pac-Man game was fun. But hard to play . Hot tub is nice we enjoyed watching the wildlife at night from the back porch. There's plenty of bird watching to be had there as well . Just don't leave the door open while bringing in groceries cause the birds will come in too. Overall had a great time .

It was the cutest and so nice. The property is amazing. We couldn’t find extra trash bags and the property owners answered our messages immediately. So wonderful !

Restful Getaway

The cabin was great. We had a wonderful time relaxing and exploring the area. The children were able to swim at the state park which was a plus.

Amazing cabin

Great Cabin, it’s just as amazing as seen in the pictures. Would definitely recommend for big families who want to get away from the big city.

Lovely stay in Mentone!

The property was well-appointed, clean, and really comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub and arcade games. We also enjoyed being so close to the Lil' Mole Run golf course, which was so fun to play. We would definitely stay again!

We are Devin and Ivey Dean. We were both born and raised in Fort Payne, AL. and graduated from Fort Payne High School. After attending college, we married in 2011. Beginning in 2017, we purchased our first two cabins and have loved it ever since. Rustic Retreat makes our fifth cabin. We love living on Lookout Mtn. and want to share with others the peace and tranquillity we enjoy daily.

We both grew up in the area. We have always enjoyed the outdoors and nature so we wanted to find a way to be able to share that with others. From spring festivals to summer activities, and also the changing of the colors in fall, it is a beautiful area to experience and explore.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We love the location and rustic feel of the cabin. The big porch and being able to sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy the scenery. When you walk in the front door the open floor plan and coziness of the living area and being able to go upstairs, hang out and play a game on the air hockey table.
On the back deck, the hot tub allows you to unwind and relax with all of nature and finish up by sitting around the fire pit and maybe make some s'mores.
