The cabin had everything that we needed. It is well maintained. The hot tub was great. But feeding the deer was the absolute best.

Great time

Everything was as advertised and the property and house was very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and the deer that came in sight. The fire pit was awesome for making s’mores.

Perfect place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The living room was so comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were just right for our family. The kids especially enjoyed having their own tv in the back bedroom. The fire pit area was inviting and we saw the deer several times when we were enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Communication with the owner was easy and helpful. We look forward to staying again. Thank you for making this stay the best!

Wedding weekend

We enjoyed Whitetail cottage-the fire pit, hot tub and corn hole boards were great! We appreciated the coffee pods and creamer.

Country living

This is the perfect set-up if you are pulling a trailer or have multiple vehicles as there is plenty of room to park or go around the house to exit at the other side. The interior is gorgeous and perfect for the setting with cowhide covered chairs and river rock floor in the shower. The kitchen had everything we needed.

We enjoyed staying here on 2 different occasions. The location was very nice because there was not a bunch of traffic, and not far from town. The deer make this place even better. If we are back in town, I’ll definitely book again.

Perfect weekend getaway

We needed a little getaway not too far from home. This was the perfect spot for our little families of 4. The kids loved the hot tub and feeding the deer up close. The house was quaint and cozy and close to spectacular views.

Location was perfect

Quiet and peaceful. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. Enjoyed seeing and feeding the deer. The house was very nice. Will definitely be back.

Our stay was wonderful! The hot tub was so relaxing and the fireplace with the remote was so comforting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time from beginning to end! Cannot recommend enough!

Best cabin ever

We stayed there twice and I would love to go back today if i could! The cabin is a very good size, has everything you need, it is very clean....the deers on the backyard are simply out of this world and we also got some snow one night! It was magical!

A great place to stay.

We loved the property. It was everything we had hoped for. The deer greeted us as we arrived and as we left. The hot tub was warm and relaxing. The fire pit was spacious and safe. Plenty of amenities. My only request would be for a heater vent in the master bathroom and the back bedroom as well as a small washer/dryer. We definitely plan to come back.

Quaint and as advertised

The deer met us in the drive each time we entered! How cool is that! Decor was very nice. Hubby fell in love with the recliner! I loved the cow print chairs and footstools! Convenient location. Only thing we missed was a toaster! Would be happy to stay here again in another visit to Mentone!

Deer Haven

There were deer everywhere in the back yard! We enjoyed the outdoor space with the hot tub and fire pit. Great kitchen to cook in and comfortable bedrooms. We come to Mentone every year in October and always stay at a different cabin. I think we have found the cabin we will stay in again next year!

Great getaway!

What a wonderful weekend! We were greeted by deer as soon as we arrived. It was amazing how close to us they came. Thank you for having the corn so we could feed them. It is a great cabin and very private, we wouldn't hesitate to come back. I will probably check the calendar to make sure it is not the busiest weekend of the year Lol!

Deer Friends

What an amazing place. Read the reviews before we booked and heard from a friend about feeding the deer. Did not realize I would have one eating out of my hands and letting me pet her though!! I was so excited. It was truly amazing. The house is cozy and charming and just what we needed, a restful relaxing weekend away from work. Thanks for letting us use your place. We would love to come back some time.

real nice cabin, the power couch and chair allowed my handicap wife to sleep well , used firepit, children and parents in the hottub, nice yard with space , plenty of deer and a gray fox visited briefly, TV was in Spanish, we tried to convert but not sucess, needed a ROKU customer service number or resource for useage, walkin shower good for my handicap wife real happy will likely want to come back to "Whitetail" next year If found a Morningstar bok with some financial statement s please destroy
