Charming 3/2.5 Cottage in Mirror Lake Near Downtown!!!

Beautifully decorated 3 bedroom 2.5 bath in Mirror Lake. This charming home has great outdoor living in a comfortable setting. Enjoy a cozy night by the indoor fireplace, on the porch, or outside in an adirondack by the lovely outdoor firepit. Walk to town or to Mirror Lake and enjoy all Highlands has to offer.

Pet friendly with a $295 fee. You must select that you are bringing a pet when booking and include the pet type and weight in the booking request.

Grill, firepit, comfortable porch, woodburning fireplace in the living room, indoor and outdoor tv, walk to town, the list goes on! Come enjoy all Highlands has to offer.

Very kid friendly property with a great bunkroom and fun outdoor area to explore! Multiple waterfalls are a short drive away.

Plenty of parking. 2 separate parking areas and street parking at the lot next door can accommodate 4-6 cars total.

2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths are upstairs. The master and master bath are downstairs.

Please note bedding configuration-VRBO makes owner put maximum sleeps number. 10 people is tight especially if no kids but some people do it.

All new bedding and mattresses that are extremely comfortable. The living area offers plenty of comfortable seating as does the quaint outdoor porch.

Good location. We enjoyed using the fireplace. Unfortunately the dishwasher leaked so we had to do dishes by hand.No closet in the downstairs master bedroom.Trash can bear lock was rusted and did not work; fortunately no bears took advantage.Overall a good experience.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is so convenient and the house is so cozy. Our boys loved the bunk room and outdoor space.

Great Weekend Cabin

The cabin was great for a weekend getaway! Very convenient location, just a quick drive to downtown and area hikes. The cabin was clean and comfy and we would definitely return!

Golf get away

Mirror Lake cottage

We had a great stay at this adorable cozy cottage! The location was perfect, tucked in a really cute neighborhood. Designer touches throughout! We had a great visit - would definitely rent again!

Winter retreat

We truly enjoyed our visit to this home!! The fireplace was a focal point for our family to enjoy its warmth and relax. Convenient to downtown, comfortable, and easy for our family of six.

This is my first review of a property, but I wanted to share my experience with others before considering booking. Check in was easy using the door keypad but when we walked in the kitchen there was food in a box on the counter and some trash in the garbage can. I contacted the host and he said that the cleaning crew had left it and he apologized. Additionally, this home has not been properly maintained as there are scuffs on several of the walls, the laminate flooring is gapped in many areas, the quarter round molding is loose in the upstairs bathroom, the kitchen faucet is loose and wiggles, and overall the bedding is very dated. The downstairs bedroom which has the king bed feels like you are in a dungeon and has a molded smell. It is a very steep staircase to even get down to the bedroom so taking luggage down would be difficult. There was no bath soap or shampoo in the shower we used nor was the water hot. We used only the hot control and the shower was warm but not comfortably hot. I did email the host concerning several of these issues and he did respond to my email comments but nothing was remedied by the conversations. The home is convenient to the downtown area but the neighborhood streets are very narrow and meeting another car was challenging. Overall, the amount paid for the nightly rate in no way has the value that anyone would expect. We would definitely not return to this property.

Great Highlands Getaway

Great house and family-friendly for our 2-year-old. Location is only a 7-8 minute drive from Main Street/downtown Highlands. The host was quick to respond and proactive. Highly recommend!

Comfy Mountain Cottage

The wood burning fireplace, pedestal tub and amazing adjoining bedroom were very enjoyable. Great neighborhood and quiet street. Appreciated the stocked wood.

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay in the Highlands. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable for all of us. The location was close to downtown and close to some great hikes. The property manager was very quick and responsive to any of our questions or needs.

Precious place! We had a wonderful time and loved all the detail in this home! The fireplace was wonderful! We all would end our day with a fire and a movie! Would stay there again and would highly recommend! The porch was sweet too! Sitting listening to the rain was perfect!! Close proximity to everything! The host Drew is awesome and was always quick to respond! Love this home!!
