Randy was very welcoming. The river front location is fabulous. We loved sitting in the deck listening to the river go by.

The view was absolutely incredible. The deck was a lovely place to sit and have morning coffee and evening wine. Pillows in the upstairs bedroom were amazing.

The location is stunning. The river and surrounding area is breathtaking and we loved swimming, hiking and biking while we were there. The house is fine, nothing fancy, it is roomy feeling. The beds are located upstairs in a loft setting and not really private from each other, but it worked for us. I would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful stay! It was so serene being right on the river and we enjoyed the waterfalls and hot spring a relatively short drive away. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a nice relaxing time, enjoyed the beautiful view and did some near by hikes. Host was very accommodating and gave great directions

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The fully equipped cabin is RIGHT ON THE RIVER and perfect for a hiking/waterfall get away. We feel blessed and refreshed!

we absolutely love staying here. The first time was magical, the second time was even better! Unfortunately, we missed the heat wave and didn't pull any monster fish out of the river. But, we adore these properties and Randy is one heck of a great host! We'll be back for round three at some point! :)

The Madrone house was so cozy and peaceful! It had a big, open view of the North Umpqua River with steep river access right there. The area was quiet, and our host, Randy, provided us with great maps of hiking trails in the area. We wished we could have stayed longer - we’ll be back again!

House has the most amazing views. Perfect location for hiking all of the waterfalls. We would most definitely stay again!

This place is amazing. The house itself was clean and comfortable. We were surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was. The views were outstanding and access to the river was fairly easy. The country store above the property was outstanding as well. Super nice people all the way around. Would definitely stay here again.

Hiking Paradise

The house and the location was everything we had hoped for on a Christmas holiday. We hiked the North Umpqua Trail and many of the waterfall trails and our dogs had a wonderful time. We will be back.

Relaxing and Rejuvenating

We loved the Madrone Home! The views were breathtaking and the sound of the river was absolutely soothing. A great place to relax and just be. We hiked to Toketee Falls one day and we saw spring Chinook salmon jumping up Deadline Falls. A fabulous long weekend for all four of us!

Beautiful Hideaway!

The view is intoxicating! Full window views from the entire house literally right on the North Umpqua River! Beautiful, well equipped pet friendly cabin! We’ll definitely come here again. Randy, the host, is very welcoming and has a wealth of information about the property and general area which is great for hiking/waterfall viewing/fishing..everything beautiful about the outdoors. Sleeping quarters are upstairs but I have a bum knee due to an accident, so I slept downstairs on the hideabed and woke up each morning to breathtaking views! Love this cabin and we’ll definitely be back!

We had such a great stay and plan on coming back again! Close to so many waterfalls and was great to have a quiet place to hang by the river after a day of exploring.

Quiet Getaway

Lovely experience. The only drawback was regarding the amenities. Our place did not have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and the a/c was only upstairs. I cooked 2-3x a day on our trip so I was really missing those items! But we still had a wonderful time. The view is spectacular and it was very peaceful. Thank you!!

Relaxing and peaceful

While visiting the property we had multiple communications with the owner. He was always helpful and made sure that we enjoyed our time. The view was gorgeous, the river sounded so peaceful and amazing, and we couldn't ask for a better place to stay.
