Gorgeous Lakefront cabin, pet friendly!

This open floor plan cabin is the perfect getaway for couples and families. It has a beautiful living room and fully functional kitchen stocked with spices and seasonings. Look out the huge windows that overlook the lake or sit on the large dock and read a book. Paddle boards, Kayaks, and a wood burning and gas fire pit are included. Sit under the beautiful outdoor gazebo around the gas fireplace or eat your meal at the large outdoor table. Grocery and liquor stores are only a 7 minute drive away. Hiking, swimming and biking are easily available. Please note: a second bathroom is a large heated building 30 steps from the cabin. Equipped with large shower, toilet and washing machine for your use! An additional trailer which sleeps 7, is on the property for an additional cost per night during May-Nov. please inquire.

I absolutely loved this place , nice clean updated cabin with a beautiful gazebo and dock, nice beach and clear water,, our host was very nice and helpful with whatever we needed,, we would definitely come back

This is a great place for a visit with the gorgeous lake, and to have family. The host Karen always responded right away to our messages, and was gracious. A lovely, peaceful spot with plenty of outdoor gathering areas.

The cabin is cozy and clean with a great view of the lake . The seating outside is great with the fire 20 yards from the lake. The only negative is the noisy birds lol. Great place to stay and Karen is a great host . Thanks again and we’ll see you next year.

A great place, and exactly as advertised. Well equipped (we made good use of the kitchen), and Karen was very prompt and responsive. Great location and feel - loved using the paddleboards and kayaks and sitting round the fire pit in the evenings. Would stay again!

BC Cariboo DelightWhat a wonderful location and cabin to use for adventures on the water or simply for relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the BBQ, the dock, the gazebo and the kayaks. You couldn’t ask for a better stocked kitchen and the beds are very comfortable. The extra bathroom hut is perfect for use when you’re spending your day outside. Karen was quick to answer my questions and check in and out was easy. The store/gas station has lots in stock if you’ve forgotten anything. Thanks so much to our accommodating hosts.

Amazing spot

The cabin and grounds were amazing. Such a great get away, Karen was so nice and helpful. Has all the amenities you want plus a great dock, fire pit and swimming area. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Such an amazing weekend

Perfect spot on the lake!

We had a great stay at Karen's place. It's nicely updated and has all the amenities anyone would need. I had my 22' boat with us and the launch just a few hundred yard down the road was easy to get my boat in and out of the lake. Hope to return next year!

The cabin is beautiful on a wonderful piece of property on the lakeshore. Idyllic and peaceful. The time allotted ended too soon.Lovely kitchen, fabulous view.

Great place to stay in beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay at Karen's place. It's clean, cozy and has everything you need. We really appreciate the opportunity to use kayaks since we couldn't bring our own. It's located in a quiet area with picturesque views of Sheridan Lake. Karen was on top of our communications. I'll definitely recommend this place for family stay.

The cabin is in a Beautiful lakefront setting. There are kayaks, paddle boards and rowboat available tor use. The bed is so comfy and the cabin is fully equipped, cozy and Completely updated! Reallylovey - this is our second year there and we hope to be able to stay there again next year! Lots of cows too!

Bath road waterfront

Really enjoyed the location and neighborhood. Was not expecting an outdoor facility but it all worked. Definitely would stay again!

Great

My Girlfriend & I really enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful & quiet. Beautiful house/ property right on the lake with a private dock. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. We felt right at home and host was great to deal with. We would definitely consider staying again in the near future.

The cabin is quaint and cozy, the lakeside location is beautiful. Just be aware that the tap water has a bad, swampy smell so bring lots of bottled water. Also, there are leaches in the shallow area of the lake - our dog had several on her paws after wading near the dock.

Hello Candace, The smell is sulphur and can be common with homes that rely on a well water. The great news is you were provided with complimentary water and 2 filled 5 gallon coolers. As for the leeches. We usually assume that dogs stay on the beach area and not go on into the grass/duck habitat to the left of the property. Every lake has these leaches in the caribou in grass areas. I assume the poor rating is because of the items taken from the cabin you were charged for. I am a gracious host and an excellent communicator with many guest accidentally breaking items or take Tupperware home etc without charging the deposit. However, I had never had a guest require the following scheduled guest replace items they took or communicate with me in the attitude you did.

A slice of paradise!

Karen’s cabin is cozy and comfortable. Steps away from the lake with access to a sturdy, private dock, kayaks and paddleboards. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are very comfortable. We will be back! Highly recommend!

Location and property was great. The cabin was spacious inside and out and had all amenities we needed.The master bedroom bed was a bit too soft with a large divot.The water pump was very loud and would turn on after every toilet flush.

Hi Bonnie, We are glad you enjoyed the cabin. I will have my husband flip the mattress or replace it as I was completely unaware and didnt feel it last time I was there. Yes the pump can turn on for a few seconds during flushing or washing dishes. #cottagelife

Amazing summer family getaway

We had two families of three stay here and it was a lovely place to kick back and relax. The view is lovely and we enjoyed having wood fires at night. The sounds of loons on the lake at night really makes this feel like true Canadian cottage country. There are a few leeches near the reeds and shore but once you get out on the open lake water it's totally fine, so we got plenty of use of the paddleboards and kayaks. The surrounding area is also very scenic, especially in early summer with all of the wildflowers. We'll definitely be back!
