Be at home in our custom built lakefront log house situated 30 minutes east of 100 Mile House, British Columbia. The many features include four comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms plus a master bedroom en suite, spacious well-equipped kitchen and dining area, great room with a gas fireplace, and a cozy loft retreat for TV viewing or reading. With views from every window, a large deck for relaxing and al fresco dining, you’ll soon be luxuriating in the holiday feeling that the Cariboo Cabin promotes.

The two acre property includes over 200 feet of waterfront, your own dock for boating and swimming access, and another deck for lakeside viewing of the varied bird life.

Whether you come to canoe, fish, swim, walk or read in the summer, or cross-country ski, ice-fish, snowmobile or hibernate in the winter, “The Cariboo Cabin” is your ideal holiday retreat.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOT TUB AND DOCK ARE AVAILABLE ONLY FROM MID-MAY TO MID-OCTOBER.

Beautiful cabin and views

Perfect family getaway

We’ve stayed at many lakeside cabins over the years, this property is by far the most beautiful. It truly is a perfect family getaway for all ages. The cabin itself is roomy and clean with all the amenities you need. Kitchen is well stocked for daily home cooked meals. The grounds are private and usable by the whole family. Top all of that off with a hottub, a crystal clear lake with swimming, fishing and kayaking plus the spacious deck’s perfect for evening star gazing? Absolutely perfect relaxing getaway. I have zero complaints about this property. Sylvia was an excellent communicator and helpful, it is exactly as advertised, the pictures don’t do it justice.

Love this property!

The MacGregor cabin is always the best! We love it here. Beautiful, comfortable, clean accommodations. The only thing that could have made it better was if the hot tub could have been running. Fishing was slow but caught some before our stay was over so no complaints there.

Beautiful Getaway

The online listing does not do justice to this lovely property. The location is secluded on a very nice little fishing lake. The property and "cabin" are outstanding. Very comfortable and spacious and nothing is lacking. The hosts are super amiable and made us feel welcome.

Great Getaway

We have stayed twice now and can not wait to hopefully rent it again. Weather was awesome, the fishing was slow but we managed to bring some home. We did some atving got to see some more of the area. Love it there!

Beautiful house and location

A great place for a family get together. The house has beautiful views of the lake and a the large living room and kitchen are ideal for hanging out. We would love to come back again in the summertime!

We are already planning on coming back.

We had an awesome time! The house is really spaceous: 8 people and a dog and we never felt crammed. The kitchen is a dream if you plan on cooking and baking. Our teens spend hours playing board games and doing puzzles. They used the TV to watch a few videos. Everything is neat and clean. We all enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and the snowy landscape. We need to come back in the summer so we can make use of the kayaks and the hot tub :)

Paradise in the Cariboo

Lovely log home on a gorgeous quiet lake. We had such a wonderful and relaxing time. The home is well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable - we slept so well. We could stare at the lake from the decks all day long. Loved it! Thank you for sharing your home!

Second Family Vacation at this beautiful location!

Wonderful stay at the McGregor's Lake Front Home. Has everything you need to prepare large or small meals. Beautiful home, kayaking, hot tub, large deck. House stays cool on hot days and warm on cool days. Good wifi, satellite tv, lots of puzzles, board games, etc. Look forward to my next stay. I am a repeat client and wouldn't change a thing. Thank you!

A family retreat

We came up to the cabin for a couple nights during spring break. The cabin was well stocked and very spacious. Clean and organized. Although the weather was rainy and slushy, we got out for a few hikes and enjoyed the scenery. Lots of board games, puzzles and family time. We would love to come back in the summer time to enjoy the lake. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us.

Great to be back!

Unfortunately I was unable to make it this year due to weather, but the rest of the ice fishing crew made it and it sounds like they had a great time. Great communication from the hosts, an incredible location, and a beautiful cabin with everything you need.
