Historic Bardstown Cottage

Stay with us in Bardstown, named one of "the most beautiful small towns in America." Our cottage is located just three blocks from downtown restaurants, shops, family activities and nightlife. Located on the Bourbon Trail, you are steps from Barton's Distillery and a short drive from several other popular distilleries. Churchill Downs, Keeneland, Mammoth Cave National Park and other popular attractions are within an hours drive making this cottage the perfect base for exploring Kentucky.

This fully renovated home sleeps up to 4 people in two queen beds. The first floor features the master bedroom, living room, kitchen, office area and bathroom with a walk in shower and washer and dryer. The second floor is devoted to the second bedroom and a private sitting area. Local cable TV and wifi (for streaming from your accounts) are provided. You can enjoy the outdoors on our front porch or deck with a dining area and grill. Enjoy your morning coffee or a nightcap from our drink station.
Our home is located on a busy street. This causes some street noise which is a trade-off for the great location right in town. We do provide sound machines in the bedrooms to help with this noise.

It was a very clean and cute place on the inside. The outside needed some attention. It was on a very busy street but well worth being close to town. Has a cute porch with rockers and a swing. Owner provided everything we needed for our stay and easy to work with!

Clean and comfortable! The host was extremely easy to communicate with, and I did not run into any issues. Very close to downtown, which was very convenient. A great place to unwind after a long day on the bourbon trail.

The cottage and the host are exceptional. The location is in walking distance of several places which is lovely if you are in Bardstown to enjoy bourbon. We truly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this cottage.

Location was good for walking into town. The cottage was very neat, clean, supplied. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The road can be a bit busy but it does quiet down in the evening. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

The house was clean, quaint and well appointed for guests. We visited Bardstown with another couple and I made the reservations for our group . Nicole was pleasant and graciously answered any and all questions before and during our stay. Appreciated the hospitality and suggestions for restaurants and local attractions. Check-out instructions were clear and concise. Thank you for sharing your home.

Enjoyed Bardstown

Perfect location, historic charm, cottage decor. Would definitely attempt to stay in again if I were able to come back to Kentucky and the Bourbon Trail.

Great Location

This was a great little cottage for my husband and I. We walked to the downtown area several times. Many other locations within easy driving distance. Would stay again when in the area.

Great Location!

We’ve stayed here before and rental is just as described. Clean, well stocked and comfortable! Short walk to town and short drives to many distilleries. When coming back, we will stay here again!

Beautiful Cottage

This property was just as pictured and described, but was better in person. Great location to everything that was planned in and around Bardstown. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay!

Christmas stay

In town visiting family and stayed over Christmas. The house and location was perfect! Very cute and convenient to everything. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit.

Great Little House Close to Town

This was a great little house within a few blocks of downtown Bardstown. House was clean, beds were nice and overall very accommodating. Having laundry was a huge perk as well. Host communicated well, check in/check out was easy. I would 10/10 recommend this property for anyone traveling to Bardstown.

Bourbon Tour

The location of the cottage is perfect for a visit to many distilleries as well as things for a non-bourbon drinking wife to enjoy. Bardstown itself is a lovely town.

The home looks just like it does in the photos. Owners gave specific and accurate check-in instructions and were very responsive. Kitchen was very functional and had all the basic requirements and then some! Very nice place and great location!

The cottage was perfect for the 3 of us. It was very clean, cosy & comfy. It was within short walking distance to historical sites, & restaurants. The hosts were friendly & easy to communicate with. They were quick to respond to a need we had & followed up after to confirm the need had been met. The kitchen was well organized & supplied w pantry for placing your own supplies, which held crock pots. Appliances were new & in good shape. There is large table for family style meals or board games. An easy to use stacked laundry is adjacent to the kitchen. There is a front porch swing & 2 rocking chairs & back deck w large table & shade tree. The beds comfy , the living room restful w lg tv for movie time. Highly recommend!
