Newly remodeled, Grigsby House in Historic Bardstown

The Grigsby House is a two-story, two-bedroom, two and a half bathroom charming townhouse located in the heart of downtown Bardstown. This property is within walking distance from historic Bardstown's main street, St. Joseph Basilica, The Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History and overlooks the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and Bardstown Arts and Crafts Fair.

There is one bedroom upstairs offering a King size bed with a full bath and dressing area and a flat screen TV. The downstairs bedroom offers a Queen size bed with a full bath and flat screen TV. We have a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and wine cooler. Each bathroom has a hair dryer, shampoo, lotions, toothpaste, and soap. There is a washer and dryer on site. The living room offers a flat screen TV with DVR.

The Grigsby House has a one car garage with three private parking spaces. The courtyard is nestled in the front of the property and overlooks the Kentucky Bourbon festival.

We are just steps away from numerous restaurants, bars and boutiques. A perfect get away for a weekend or extended stay in America's Most Beautiful Small Town.

Excellent Bardstown stay

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The bedrooms and baths were spacious, beds and bedding very comfortable. Nice living and kitchen space. Location was perfect and easy walk to restaurants

This property was everything we were hoping for and more. Clean, comfortable and you can not ask for a better location in Bardstown. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Next tjme we come to Bardstown, we want to stay here again.

Wonderful location

The property was perfect. Comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The home is in downtown and it is an easy walk to restaurants, pubs, and extractions. Many distilleries are close by if you are interested in Bourbon tours!

Bourbon Trail Getaway

Grigsby House was the perfect location to enjoy the Bourbon Trail. The home was well equipped, very clean, with plenty of amenities and room for 2 couples. Host was great and quick to respond with any questions. We had a Fantastic time and would definitely stay again!

Great Place

This was a great property. Clean, neat and had everything we needed for a family of four. It was within walking distance of central downtown and all the shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Great everything

The property was as described and better. The location was perfect for your stay in Bardstown. You can walk to many shops, restaurants and historical places. Dana was helpful with any questions we had. We plan to stay here on our next visit There is so much to see and do.

The home was lovely and quaint! Very comfortable overall. Loved the location which is in walking distance to downtown and restaurants. We would stay here again if we return to Bardstown!

Warm and Inviting Home Away from Home

Perfect property within walking distance of restaurants, shops and taverns! The interior and outdoor space was lovely and the off street parking off the lane was so convenient! The property exceeded our expectations in every way! Easy access to many distilleries and wineries. I highly recommend this exceptional townhome.

Perfect place for us!

We loved the Grigsby House! It is a perfect place to relax in Bardstown. Felt like a "home away from home." It is evident that the owner cares - the house is decorated so comfortably with much attention to detail. Truly lovely!

This property far exceeded our expectations. So lovely in many ways. Very well thought out floor plan and furnishings make me think that an interior designer was involved with making it so wonderfully inviting. The outdoor patio area was so nice for sitting and having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. We also enjoyed several walks around the neighborhood and downtown area. Everything seemed to be just a few blocks walking distance. We hope to return for another visit someday.

Bourbon trail trip

The Grigsby house is a cute 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse. It's located in the heart of Bairdstown and just a short walk to the downtown area. We had enough space for four people. We even had use of the garage and the driveway is long enough to park two trucks. It's a safe area! There is also a washer and dryer which was a plus. Our only con was to upgrade the TV to a smart TV in the living room. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!

Small town perfection!

We were ecstatic to find such a gem in a Bardstown! This townhouse has it all—southern charm, prime location and all the little details that tip it from “good” to “great.” Danna was just a text or call away and there wasn’t anything that she didn’t think of when opening the doors to this home. We especially appreciated the special details like bottled waters in the wine cooler, coffees and teas, WONDERFUL mattresses and linens, as well as toiletries like toothbrushes and floss if needed. We certainly hope to return again very soon so we can stay at the Grigsby House and get another blueberry pancake at Mammy’s Kitchen!

Bourbon Tasting Weekend

We were very pleased with the property and pleasantly surprised that the online images accurately depicted the actual condition though once we saw it in person we were very impressed. A beautiful house and incredible location. We walked everywhere from the house while in town and only drove to destinations more distant. We found the residents in Bardstown very friendly and enjoyed our stay with plans to return soon for more exploring. We discovered the Civil War, Women in the Civil War and LtGen Hal Moore Museums and need to spend more time there. We are all looking forward to a return trip and we'll definitely look at staying at Grigsby House again. We'll be recommending this location to family and friends traveling to the area as well. Thanks for everything!!

Bourbon Trail Gem

Our stay at the Grigsby House was fantastic. After a long drive from Ohio, the Grigsby House was just what we needed to decompress and prepare for a weekend traveling the Bourbon Trail. The home located two short blocks from the town center on a quiet street across from a park. After pulling into the drive, we were greeted by the beautiful decor both inside and outside of the Grigsby House. We all took some time to unwind on the cozy outdoor seating area while watching the fireflies light up the neighborhood. The comfortable bedrooms with private baths provided each couple with their own spaces to end and start the day. Every space in the home was well stocked with everything needed for comfort and luxury. We especially enjoyed the extra amenities to supplement forgotten items. We were discussing our next trip to the Grigsby House before we finished the trip.

This is a beautiful home!

The online photos look great but in person it is spectacular! The unit is beautifully decorated and very clean. My husband and I were traveling with another couple and we each enjoyed this comfortable home. The two bedrooms (one upstairs and one down) each have their own bathroom plus there is a powder room on the first floor. The stairway to the second floor is quite steep so keep that in mind if stairs are an issue. The amenities (coffee selection, make-up remover, dental floss, toothbrush, bottled water, some snacks, etc.) covered any possible need. Danna thought of everything. We appreciated the notebook with dining and touring suggestions and the location is in easy walking distance to the downtown area of Bardstown with its shops and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate in booking it again.
