The location was amazing, but the house needs attention, and several listing details were inaccurate.There was no ocean view as advertised. The house directly between the rental and the beach was under construction, with large equipment and work happening every day. While neighboring construction may be outside the host’s control, it affected our experience, and advance notice would’ve been appreciated.A high chair was listed but wasn’t provided. The listing also instructed guests to rent bedding and towels, so I paid for rentals. Right before our stay, host told me linens would be provided, leaving me with an unnecessary expense.The coffee setup was frustrating. The listed “coffee maker” was a Keurig with no pods supplied, plus a French press. I brought ground coffee expecting a standard drip machine and discovered this late at night. Clearly specifying the machines would have helped us prepare. When I reached out, I didn’t feel the response showed much concern.We also couldn’t verify that the exterior doors were locked. They had keyed knobs but no deadbolts, and the handles still opened from inside after turning the locks. They may have been locked from outside, but we weren’t sure. The living room heat/AC remote’s display didn’t work, so we had to guess at the settings. The kitchen appeared updated, but the rest of the house could use more care. We loved the location, but expected more accurate information, better maintenance, and more attentive hosting.

Perfect place to enjoy Goose Rocks Beach! We walked the beach every morning. Abigail was quick to respond to any questions I had. The house was clean, well appointed and comfortable! We look forward to renting it again!

Wonderful Cottage

We really enjoyed this recently renovated cottage in Goose Rocks. We loved that the we were right on the beach access path and could get on the beach in 1 minute! The kitchen is beautiful and had everything we needed for a month long stay. Abigail was very responsive prior and during our stay.

Excellent beach week!

Can’t beat the location, plenty of space for our family of 4. Beds comfy, nice partial views of ocean on one side and marsh on the other. Narrow spiral staircase best suited for agile teens. It’s always lovely at GRB- no matter what the weather is like!

Christmas Prelude

Perfect place to escape after the hustle and bustle of Christmas Prelude. Immaculate property. Loved watching the sunrise over the ocean from the upstairs bedroom sitting area and walks on the beach. Abigail was accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Prelude Paradise

My wife and I had a fantastic time staying at this Goose Rocks Beach property. The house was unbelievably clean when we arrived and fit our needs perfectly. We were able to walk the beach- which is just steps from the front door- on several occasions. From the upper bedroom we watched the sunrise over the ocean and in the afternoon we could see the harbor seals sunning on the rocks. The owners were very responsive, jumping on a small problem with the hot water tank and getting it resolved the next day. The spacious living room was great for hanging out and relaxing after a hard day of shopping and sight seeing at the Christmas Prelude. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this house again.

delightful location and lovely house

We really enjoyed staying here. The upstairs room looks directly out at the ocean, and you walk thirty yards and have a gorgeous beach, seals and loons all right there. Nice house, lots of windows and light, clean and very functional.

Just Book It!

Third time renting this location. Spotless! Hardwood floors, dining room and spacious living room to spread out people and games! Usually can see the ocean from back deck and from several rooms in the house. Nice area for sunrises, walking the beach or neighborhoods, or cycling. Decent yard and partial view of marsh. My friends and I will hope to return in 2023!

September visit

This property was as advertised with the exception of the upstairs room. There is a very narrow spiral staircase with tiny treads on it that you have to access that room with. Impossible for older adults to use it so one of our party had to sleep on the couch. Due to its proximity to the public beach access, during peak season you’ll have lots of people walking past it at all hours. The people that live next door have 2 dogs that they put out at 5:50am each day that bark constantly next to the bedroom window. The house is very clean, the kitchen is well appointed and the furniture is comfortable. We visited after peak season and found the beach lovely and quiet.

Great cottage by the beach

This was a great property. It was a perfect location right on the beach path and across the street from the general store. We would certainly rent it again.
